My husband is a Butte native and loves the fried pork chop sandwich - we always stop on our way through. Note that almost everything here is fried (and delicious). Service is terrific. The waitress today played games with my kids through lunch and offered me a "baby sandwich" because I didn't think I could finish the full-size pork chop - that was plenty for me. My husband and teenage son got the bigger sandwiches and my littler kids got chicken fingers (serving...
Pork Chop John has a better porky at almost half the price and it also takes credit cards, which Freeway does not. Also cash only is not prominently displayed. Asked for water and they brought two bottles of water @ $2 at pop--not cool. (If you're going to do stuff like that, please warn the customer.)

It is. Quick service and good food.
Don't be shy about the outside... it's got cold beer and great company inside and some long standing history. Evil Kenevil hung out here as well.
Plus... they still had the Xmas tree up... in August.
