Host was wonderful as well as server except that server didn’t know the menu or what was being served, was offered soup or salad but no soup available, calamari was delicious however our main courses fell flat, halibut wasn’t cooked throughly and pasta was reheated. Atmosphere nice and quiet

Nice flight of wine. Interesting options. I know the light menu is very good as well.

The downstairs restaurant is closed right now so I had this meal in the wine bar area. Amazing food - and they matched it with a fantastic wine. I’ll be back. I recommend the cauliflower tikka (it’s spicy!!

Review on Park 217 Wine Bar:From the speakeasy-ish entryway on Park Street to the abundant wood, period ceiling fans and chiseled rock wall, the Park 217 Wine Bar in history soaked Uptown Butte, was a quaint, lovely restaurant with a solid 7 out of 10 rating in my book. The waitress was attentive and had a delightful personality, the wine was absolutely delicious in the paper thin, more than generous wine glasses. The beer was refreshing and the generous salad was tasty. Unfortunately the hamburger was a bit under cooked and the fish was bland, dry and entirely unappealing. My recommendation is to definitely go, get a salad, a drink and maybe even a dessert?? Just skip the meal.

One of my favorite places to go for a "fancy" night out. It is fun to try different wines from all over the world, and the food is amazing. They also run different specials during the week, like one day Tech students get 15% off drinks, and another day you get a discount on bottles to purchase. It's a great addition to Uptown Butte.

An excellent, somewhat hidden away from the usual quick grab a bite eataries uptown Butte. Our hostess/waitress Jessica was an amazing addition to our dining experience.

Great atmosphere, great food, but your greatest asset is your hostess Terri! She’s a riot and she acts as though she genuinely cares about your guests and their experience in your restaurant. Job well done Terri, it was a pleasure meeting you!Brad and the birthday girl Amy.

Atmosphere was very nice, food was prepared well, the presentation was on par as well. The service was lacking, seemed our server didn't know the menu or care. Took too much time between courses, getting the check took about 15 minutes from the time our card was taken.

This place was really good! Yummy food and really great hostess that sang and made everyone feel like she was in her own personal home. My friends and I joked about wanting to take her back to Cali with us. Best of Butte!

10/10 will go here again! First, the staff is A+!! Our singing hostess, phenomenal waiter, and friendly chef all took time to visit our table to ensure everything was perfection! Second, the food and OMG is it fantastic! Third, the atmosphere! A repurposed historic building in the heart of uptown Butte lent itself to a classy experience at a very reasonable price.

Sad vibe, run-down atmosphere in abandoned buildings, sub-par food, everything coated with black grease, weird smells everywhere, nice people but many many many better choices in Butte. Not ADA or kid friendly.

The best filet I've ever had, seriously. This place is nice, food is perfect, not overdone with sauces the flavors of the dishes speak for themselves. The atmosphere is perfectly Butte. Beautiful bar and great group rooms. The staff is friendly, I will make this a must stop on my trips home from now on.

Loved it!! Delicious menu and great atmosphere. We spoke with the owner and she is hoping the current chef stays for a while. We do too! Everything we had was exquisite.

I organized a dinner for 11 board members of a statewide nonprofit at Park 217, so I heard their reactions. Their consensus: the menu is limited, service was attentive but slow, prices appropriate for claimed "fine dining" but food quality fell short of that claim. Example: I ordered pasta with "Mediterranean vegetables," expecting artichokes, kalmata olives, and such; what I got was zucchini, mushrooms, and one grape tomato. Two in our group had ribeye steaks priced in mid $30’s. Aside from no ribeye being worth that much, the steaks were super-thin and overly fatty. Despite our group's experience, I'll surely try 217 again, with no more than four in our party, because the one-time experience of a large group on a Saturday night shouldn't by itself be decisive.
