Other than you want to have the experience of this oldest Chinese place , you don’t want to go here. Clearly one time experience. Service was just fine . Food is beyond horrible. Most of the mom and pop Chinese place had better food these guys …

We were concerned based on previous poor reviews, but dinner was outstanding and our waitress was personable and knew what was good on the menu!

Waitresses are extremely rude. Don't bother ordering delivery unless you don't mind waiting 2 hours for your food. Delivery drivers are ignored and barked at whenever asking staff for help. I won't ever spend my money here again, and I certainly wouldn't tip any of the rude staff. Unbelievable.

Cool spot, interesting layout for the oldest Chinese Restaurant in America. Not the normal "American" Chinese Food restaurant. Go check it out!

This place is rich in history. I would recommend to visit and try their foodOne concern is the accessibility. There is a stair to the dining hall.I went on Sunday night and it was busy. For my taste, the food was very salty. Maybe I should try different meal next time I come to town.

It breaks my heart. I know the past owner Danny Wong personally as did my family. The man he left this business to ruined it. He cut corners he ordered out food he treated his staff terribly and he changed recipes. They claim to be an authentic noodle shop and have been ordering their noodles out from a distributor for the past 3 years. The food was absolutely disgusting the rice was not fried the chicken was processed lunch meat. It looked disgusting it smelled disgusting it was served on unmatching dining Ware probably because they sold the Good China to keep the lights on. Everything was either over-salted or bland. They serve me beef chow mein with ordered out noodles overcooked celery the only vegetable on the plate and actually had the call to saturated in powdered beef gravy mix. Shame. The owner his brother should be ashamed but I'm sure he's not I doubt there is the capacity left after what he has done to himself throughout his life and the bad choices he's made to feel anything but the need for more let's call them extracurriculars since we don't want to....

Best Chinese food I've ever had!

Awful! This is literally processed chicken deli meat with the texture of balogna. The egg drop soup tasted like they used sewer water. The pork spare ribs were chewy and gamey tasting. Possibly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

The generic American "Chinese food" you'd order at a urban Chinese spot is so-so here. Ask what's good and order that, it's probably the noodles. Also, no one cares about people complaining about service, why don't you go up and ask when you are ready to order if you asked for some time to think it over. The booths make the atmosphere unique, but also troublesome is you ask for special circumstances. I went with a friend a few times whose been there often, and then by myself, service was good.

Service was fine, the food was maybe traditional to the region of China? I've been to many China towns while traveling and I've never had anything like this. Food is served on the LOUDESTTTTT cart ever to be used.

I’m going to preface this with first, I RARELY leave bad reviews. If I didn’t have a good experience, I just leave it at that and don’t go back.Second, I am really laid back when it comes to restaurants and I have a lot of grace with service. So, with that said, I had such high expectations for this place, being as historic as it is! We drove all the way from Bozeman (1 hr 15 min drive). When we arrived there was a 20 minute wait before being seated (not a big deal at all). But! After being sat it took 35 minutes to have a server come to the table to ask about drinks and give menus. Then another 20 minutes before the server came back to take orders! We literally watched groups be sat, order, eat and leave before our order was even taken. After an hour and a half since walking through the door, we decided that if we didn’t have our food at the table by the 2 hour mark, we would just leave.I was very hopeful that maybe the food would at least be good and make all of this waiting worth it.Wrong.The food arrived 1 hour and 50 mins into our experience. To say I was disappointed is a severe understatement. The food was terrible: our Beef and Broccoli dish was overly salted and DROWNING in sauce, the Beef Chow Mein was basically only over cooked celery, my Mushroom Fried Rice had mushrooms cold and straight from a can, and the “Giant Fried Shrimp” dish had 4 barley medium-sized shrimps… $16 for 4. Medium. Shrimps.Sigh.We were so disappointed we literally just paid, got up, and left hungry. I’ve never left a restaurant hungry.I don’t understand how this restaurant has made it 110+ years. ?‍♀️PS The Taco Bell Cantina down the street that we hopped over to screwed up our order too but we got it in 6 mins and it still tasted great. Hopefully T-Bell is around in 2133.

Rather disappointed. I had the almond chicken chow mein. Meat was rewarmed from day before had that warmed over meat flavor on the ribs. There was a ton of gristle on the ribs. I bet out of the servings the sent. I got about a 1/4 of actual edible meat. Pineapple was flavorful. Shrimp no flavor and soggy. All was mediocre for temp. I want hot food not cold or barely warm. Really disappointed in the food. Been here a few years ago and it was good.

Went to Pekin Noodle Parlor for an early Christmas Eve dinner with my wife and my folks. Had the Barbecued Chinese Pork, the Egg Rolls, Sezchuan Beef, Ginger Shrimp, Beef and Mushroom Chop Suey, Sweet and Sour Pork, the Special Fried Rice (which had shrimp), as well as multiple Tsingtao’s.Our server, Sam, was whip fast in both getting our food as well as drinks to us. The egg rolls were OUTSTANDING, the BBQ pork was delightful as well. It was served with toasted sesame seeds and hot mustard (which is the cure all for any sinus infection). Our main course foods were quite good as well. the chop suey was absolutely delicious, the ginger shrimp was phenomenal, and the sweet and sour pork was up there with some of the best I’ve ever had. The sweet and sour pork was crunchy, saucy, and tender, so good. The Sezchuan beef lacked a bit in heat as well as salt, but I’m a self proclaimed Sezchuan snob.Overall, an amazing experience, super cool history of the place, and excellent service.
