After many years of living in three forks and driving past the restaurant... we finally had an opportunity to enjoy a date night here. The drive, and view are stunning! Literally, from the first bite of my salad, to the Ribeye dinner, and a slice of cheese cake, the food was exceptional! Our server was busy, but still great. LaHood Park Steakhouse offers an amazing meal with great staff, great drinks, and an excellent dining experience. The ribeye is described as the most amazing ever tasted, and other must-tries include the beer cheese soup and vanilla strawberry cheesecake. The food is exquisite, with scrumptious ribs, excellent calamari with just the right texture, and delicious pork belly. The Baby Back Ribs 1/2 Rack with Wild Rice Pilaf is well seasoned, and the Chicken Fried Steak is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Breaded Jumbo Prawns and Prime rib are also praised, with the prime rib being tender, moist, and having very good flavor. The service is always excellent, with attentive and professionally trained staff. One waitress even sang happy birthday in Italian. The wine list and cocktails are top notch. The restaurant offers a great view of the river, making it nice to relax and enjoy nature. The drive and view are stunning. While it is a pricey place to eat, the food makes up for it, and it is well worth the drive and money. The owner is a wonderful human, and the quality of the restaurant as a whole is exceptional.
