I have lived in Helena 31 years and this was my first time visiting Chubby's. My friends took me there for my birthday for Prime Rib. I was pleased with my dinner and wow the portion! I had dinner for 3 days. The white chocolate Rasberry Cheesecake for my dessert for excellent. It was wonderful!
I have lived in Helena for over 4 years now. One evening I had a yearning for prime rib. I had heard of Chubbies but was too lazy to drive (about 25 miles). Let me tell you, it is well worth the drive! The prime rib special on Friday and Saturday is fantastic folks. One other very important thing is that they have Mac & Jacs Amber Ale on tap.The icing on the cake for this Ole fart. You might try the prime steak salad. Good to very good food, staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is like small-town friendly, like an old west watering hole. Upgrade might be good, but something would be lost at the same time.
