Oh. My. GOD. I thought it was maybe just over-hyped by all my friends/family but I am so glad I stopped anyway. I have family in Missoula but live in Salt lake so this is the perfect stop in the middle. The food was unreal. I would visit my family in MT regardless but finding this food stop probably just made me double the amount of trips I'll make up there to see them.
As a southern California native, I am a bit of a Mexican food snob. I have found that during my many travels, the further you get from southern California, the harder it is to find good, authentic Mexican food. Enter the Mexican Food Bus, in Montana, no less. I have eaten Mexican food in restaurants, off of food trucks, and from roadside vendor carts, but never a bus. I'm always concerned about getting food poisoning and I read one review dated a month ago that mentioned this. We took a chance due to many good reviews and, honestly, you can get food poisoning at anyplace, even home. Central CA natives, we know our authentic Mexican food. This place was delicious!
