This is a great hotel. The rooms a very big and very clean. Very welcoming personnel at front desk. The balcony is spacious so you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening adult beverage. and take in the view. We had a "mountain view" room. This usually means a room in the back looking at nothing. Not here! It's the front of the hotel and has a million-dollar view. Stop looking and stay here
A large clean room with friendly staff. A bargain in a very pricey marlet. Ample parking and has nearby dinning options. The large porch was ideal for unwinding. I would recommend for a stay and access to the YNP north gate. 200 word review minimum is a lot for 1 night stay.
Great location, right on the main street. Check in gal was very friendly and helpful as to places to dine in the area. She informed us to not be alarmed if we see deer or elk outside our door. It is very common. It was. Our room was very large and clean. There is an elevator for the upper two floors. There is a small grocery market just down the street that has everything you may need. There is no breakfast here. Would definitely recommend this place not caring what the others offer.
Okay. So this hotel is not luxurious. You will not be bowled over by the decor or the lobby. But I am telling you these people were lifesavers for me and my kids, and the hotel was perfect for what we needed after a very long day of travel. And it was the perfect gateway to our Yellowstone North Entrance adventure. This is just so much better than West Yellowstone. We booked this hotel late, after a 14 hour drive from Olympic National Park. And even though we drove straight through, because of unplanned road work delays, we didn't arrive at the hotel until 2 AM. I had checked with the staff over the phone a couple of times that evening to make sure they were aware of our late arrival, but 2 AM is late for a place like this, and I was not sure how it would all work. We arrived, and sure enough, the lobby was closed. But our keys and instructions and a very kind welcome note were taped discretely to the door. Our room was clean and big, with a very good bathroom. We didn't use the kitchen, but it was nice to have there. I went down to the lobby in the morning to settle my bill, and they were so concerned about us and just wanted to make sure we were alright and had made it to the hotel in good order. Anyway. They were so helpful during a very busy time of the year, and I appreciated it enormously.
Stayed here on August 4th and 5th after encountering a lot of rain inside the park and our tent not being up to that standard. We were fortunate to be able to get a room with only a days notice and found that booking directly with the Property was the best price. Had a kitchen suite room which had two stove burners, a full aize fridge and microwave, and an eating bar with 3 stools plus another table with 2 chairs. Kitchen was stocked with pots/pans/bowls/plates/utensils so you could make use of it. Was easily able to cook dinner, make breakfasts, and pack lunches with what was provided. So for $25 US per night and tax it was worth getting the suite to do this rather than go out for some of these meals. Although even with a basic room if you have your camping supplies the property has space and amenities where you could cook if you wanted even in the rain that we encountered. Room was a decent size and clean. Had a nice big shower that we used a lot after limited shower options at camp grounds. They let us lockup our bikes at the property so we didn't have to haul those into the park. Nice big parking lot with a great view and close to the food market and many other shops and restaurants. Being located where it is, it is expensive especially for Canadians with our low value dollar. But compared to everywhere else around there I think it's one of the better values to be had. I'd recommend this place and if you are coming in from the North thru Bozeman, this is where I'd opt to stay before heading into the park to camp if I had to do it again. If it was rated out of 10 it's more like a 8.5 so to me it's 4 plus. Only issue was the breaker on the fridge blowing sometime on our last night. Didn't lose any food so not a big issue. Not really the properties fault and I'm sure they would have corrected it after reporting it had it happened earlier in our stay.
I happen to come across a double charge. An accident to our faults as we were in double beds on our side, not the hotel It was my fault for any undue stress. As I panicked because I thought there was a double charge when there was not. I can say that this day was the cleanest day this close to Yellowstone and there are condo spacious apartments like there is in this hotel room. I would highly recommend for the extreme cleanliness. Friendlinas as well as a fresh, clean bed with clean sheets and a spotless space. They care about their customers. And it shows with a very spacious front deck with four chairs to relax and take it easy. I will have to be posting pictures because this is the cleanest place we have stayed in garden near the bar and we are at a traveler so I urge anybody who is looking for a family friendly super clean place with a fresh head in the bed with clint lennon too please book here. Is close everything down town. Go eat, water rafting, or go shopping. And I have breakfast and lunch and dinner places all over. If housekeeping turned beds over every day with clean fresh towels, i'm sure that they would get more tips from transient travelers as they work their butts off to make sure that we have virtually a clean room that looks fantastic.
This hotel located in Gardiner, MT right outside of Yellowstone National Park was a great find! Friendly front desk employees, and a clean and modern lobby. We were on the first floor, so we parked right outside our room door, which was convenient. The beds were comfortable and they provided plenty of pillows and towels. The room was clean, with the exception of cobwebs in the ceiling corners, and around the fire sprinkler. The shower was big, but very slippery. Updated and comfortable. Of course it was expensive being it is right before you enter Yellowstone National Park. All the lodging is. Would stay again!
This was a nice “mom and pop” type hotel located near the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It was reasonably priced and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel offers great views of the surrounding mountains and they have chairs and some tables located outside of the rooms. I would have given this hotel 5 stars, if it wasn’t for the overwhelming smell of Febreze in our room. It was quite overpowering upon our arrival and we ended up opening up the window to air it out. Overall, I would stay here again if visiting Yellowstone.
Great experience. Beds were comfortable, the hotel staff were extra friendly and the rooms were clean. We had deer and elk walking through the parking lot when we were there. Also has wonderful views.
This was our second time staying here and we enjoyed it - again. We were on the third floor (314) and the views were outstanding! The room was very spacious and super clean; lots of desk space, fridge, microwave, a sofa (bed) and coffee table. Outside were tables and chairs and even though it was cold and rainy both nights we sat outside. There is an elevator and ice makers are on every floor. Coffee and hot cider are available during office hours in the lobby. If you arrive late, they will make arrangements for your key pick-up. The location is great; a restaurant across the street, the grocery store within three minutes of walking and both mornings I walked to the Gateway Arch.

Great inexpensive stay at a no frills but great motel! We had the double Queen with pull out couch and it worked out just fine. Beautiful views and super budget friendly! Clean but basic! Would definitely stay again!
We had made reservations well in advance to coming to Gardiner and I would highly recommend, you do, since there were no vacancies in town I could see. Check in was very nice and we got room 101, which has no view to the mountains (note: so do rooms 102, 103 and 104); we had a table and chairs outside the room and enjoyed sitting outside on a cold(ish) and wet evening (over night it snowed and closed a number roads in the park). The views from the second floor are amazing! Our room was basic, but very clean and spacious (be aware that the floors slant a bit in the room), with two very comfortable queen beds. There is coffee, tea and cider in the lobby, but no breakfast. Parking is plenty. We did not get to see the 'resident elk', but were warned that she might be right at the front door in the morning and to use caution. The hotel is in walking distance to everything in Gardiner and we would stay again next time.
My only complaint is that the hotel has no one staffed to help after 9pm. We had a tour group above us that invited several others into their room and was very loud partying, stomping the floors, and scooting the kitchen chairs around constantly until 2am. This was only one night of our 4 night stay, however it would have been nice to have staff there when we were dealing with the noisy guests. When you tell guests no one is going to be around after 9pm, its an invite to do as you please. For the price of the hotel room you wouldn't expect that all of us losing 4 hours of sleep before taking the family out to hike and enjoy the park would have been a concern. I suggest having a policy that no outside guests are allowed in rooms, and setting quiet hours for your guests. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and the kitchenette area had everything we needed. The balcony had an amazing view of the mountains and the market was just 1 block away. There was plenty of parking for their guests. You're a stranger in a foreign land and on your own after 9pm though. If this is important to you look for 24 hour front desk hours when booking.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. I'm especially glad we booked a room with kitchen facilities so we could make our breakfast and lunches before heading to Yellowstone. We had perfect weather but our thoughts are with you with all the recent problems. A very helpful person, I think her name was Corrin, gave us all sorts of information on finding the laundry and grocery facilities. Couldn't have been nicer. Our room on the top floor was great because it was quiet. There is an elevator which was good for my husband's mobility issues. Also enjoyed the resident elk in the parking lot.
Stayed here after leaving the north gate of Yellowstone. The hotel was pretty basic. It was clean and is on the edge of town. The view from the rooms is great and there were elk walking in the street right in front of the hotel, which was awesome. It was a good stay.
