I ate here on a recommendation from the nice lady at the local pot shop. Let me tell you the food was amazing! The bison Montana burger was out of this world. I also got an order of jalapeño cornbread to go which I’m just eating now next to a campfire near Billings. This stuff is so good I might have to run back to Gardiner for more before I head back to MN 😂

In love with this lodge and cafe. Rooms are clean and have all the essentials. Most importantly, Stacy is a super responsive host. We enjoyed staying close to the park as well as other restaurants in the area. We also ate to our hearts content at the cafe. Plenty of parking nearby. And bonus - you might even get to see some elks in this area in the evening if you are lucky.

We ate at this restaurant and it was amazing! My husband had the Mac and cheese which was great and I had the bison ravioli, which was amazing! It was the best thing I have ever eaten. I would definitely recommend the bison ravioli. The sauce they use is like crack! I would have licked the plate because it’s that good! They also had great service and are great at getting everyone taken care of. I’m from out of town and I hope to come back. Not only for the park, but also for this ravioli!!

The Wonderland Cafe staff was incredibly kind and attentive. Great food, quick service, and great art on the walls. Ate my dish too quickly to get good photos!

The Wonderland cafe was easily the best restaurant we visited here in Gardiner. I live here and haven't yet had a chance to visit all the local eateries but I have tried most. The portion sizes, the quality of food, the attentive service and staff, and the prices are hands down the best experience I've had here in town thus far. I would definitely recommend this place if your hungry and want to get the best value for your money. We'll definitely be back to eat here again.....soon. Thanks Wonderland!

This place made our 10th year anniversary all the more magical. We stayed in the Grizzly Den studio. Log cabin styled, comfy, cozy, cool, super stylistic, rustic room that we could have locked ourselves away in for days upon days.

By far the best meals we've had in Montana so far (and now the bar has been set *very* high). The food was delicious, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. The staff were personable, efficient, and moved with great speed and purpose. There is nothing we can think of that would have improved our experience. Hat's off to Rachel and her amazing staff!

We have the chili and mac and cheese for supper. Both dishes were delicious. Definitely plan to head back for another meal before we leave the area.

We had brussels sprouts for an appetizer, but it came after we were already done the meals.

Cafe review. Burger was good. Fries so so. Good salad. Very good service. Nice beer selection.

This review is only about the restaurant:

It must be a popular place at is was already completely packed once we came in. The only seating available was at the bar, which was okay for us.

Positive things:
The food was really delicious! The starter and the two main courses were freshly prepared, flavorful & tasty! Due to our seating location we could also watch the teamwork of the staff - and that was really impressive.

Things to improve:
Our server wasn’t really too friendly. She paid little attention to us, we never saw a smile, and we even had to pour the wine ourselves - she just put the bottle in front of us. Not so nice. Good service is important & a smile doesn’t cost anything. Plus: They put a Resort Tax plus a credit card fee on our check. Why should I pay a resort fee if I only used the restaurant? And in the land of the credit cards, this fee should not be put on the check but worked into the menu prices, if at all.

Food was excellent but couldn't get my drink filled. The waiter never came back after we got our food till we was done to bring the check. Tried to get his attention but was ignored.

They were able to seat our party of 9 immediately and the service was amazing. The food and ambience were excellent and definitely worth the extra 15 minutes up north from Mammoth Hot Springs. We even got to get a picture with the original entrance into Yellowstone with this trip. I got the Mac and cheese with chorizo and it was divine. If they had a location in Utah, we’d be going constantly. They have local art displayed you can purchase and even some mugs from a ceramicist based out of Helena. The mug is pictured (at my home) and I added a picture of the pot stickers they have (so good). We hope to visit again someday, it was amazing!

The food was the best we had in Gardiner. The Brussels Sprouts were deliciously prepared and had an amazing flavor — so good. Two of our party ordered the Wild Game Chili Mac and really enjoyed the fresh preparation and generous portion — “Tasty!” The Wonderland Burger (beef) was perfectly cooked and I loved the basil aioli and the brioche bun. As a side, the Caesar salad was dressed well. We enjoyed an excellent meal and would definitely come again.

The lime chicken was very good. The staff was friendly and helpful.
