“The pizza at Eugene’s is amazing, and the service is fast and friendly—but what really sets it apart are the owners, Sam and Jeff Knödel.

On a motorcycle trip to Glacier, I got stranded in Glasgow, MT, when my clutch cable broke. The part had to be shipped, and the only local shop mainly works on ATVs, with no guarantee my bike could be fixed.

I heard Jeff is a motorcycle enthusiast and reached out. Sam met me during the day, offered incredible support, connected me with Jeff, and even offered to store my bike, and arrange transport if needed. Jeff picked me up with an emergency repair kit, drove me to the shop, and back to my motel.

These brothers went far beyond helping a stranded traveler—they turned a stressful situation into a story I’ll never forget. Eugene’s isn’t just about great pizza; it’s about the people behind it. Sam and Jeff who are truly extraordinary.“

“We are from Wisconsin and just passing through. Stopped at around 715pm on a Wed. for pizza here and planned to eat inside but they had to close that part due to not enough staff. The manager (I think) apologized profusely and I told him not to worry as we know how hard it is to find employees these days! We ordered it to go and went and waited in our truck camper until it was done. I was just about to go inside but the manager brought it out to us! Very impressive!

We got the "My Hut Box" with pan pizzas and French fries. The food was very hot and the smell was heavenly. The French fries were excellent... very crispy and light. And he didn't forget to include the ketchup we requested! As always, the pan pizza never disappoints. What a great deal! We also got a dessert to share.

“Met with old friends. Nice assortment of beer and mixed drinks, if wanted. Free refills on soda drinks. Great pizza from Eugene's pizza full menu. Sam and Jeff are brother co-owners. As usual, great pizza. Friends wife ordered Arlies pizza ?, sausage, Canadian bacon and she requested pepperoni on top. Switched her to that from now on because the pepperoni is crispy and curled .“

“Locals recommended this place for breakfast, and they were not wrong. Crunchy hash brown just the way me like! although, there were so many old people around I started to wonder if I needed a walker as well. Coffee was nothing to brag about but the server was friendly and prices were good! Bacon was hella crispy which was perfect“
