Food is mediocre. Many of the tap beers are stale. Probably because the food is really nothing to go back for and very overpriced. It's nice that there is no wait to sit because there are always open tables.
This was my first time here and wow the interior of this place is awesome. So much history in this area of town. The food and drinks were absolutely wonderful and the server was awesome. Overall great experience.
We are locals and have eaten here many times. Service is always great and even though menu has changed since pandemic (more narrow menu) the food is still great and service too. If you like brussel sprouts - I've had then all over the country and these are the best I've had. I asked for “extra crispy” and added chicken.
Great hot spot - gay friendly
Rated as one the places to go in Helena I was a little underwhelmed. Food was fair and prepared well but more standard in my book. Our server Vanessa was amazing and attended to our needs fantastically. In a time when new restaurants are opening in the area to challenge the long timers, and have better food the old timers need to step up there quality.Check it out for your self to see how it stands for yourself.
Good food. I had an appetizer for my meal to save stomach space for the carrot cake. The quesadillo was large; the cake wonderful.
Food, menu, and service are all good.Tables and chairs are too old, run down, and wobbly. Not a huge deal, but an easy fix to make a dining experience worthy of 5 stars.
Good food, good drinks, nice server. Fun little pub style place. Not expensive. Relaxed environment.
Literally worst experience of my life in a restaurant. We were the only customers in there and it took 45 minutes for our food. (Table of 5) not to mention the server never came to check on us, knew no answers to the questions we asked and never went to find out the answers. All of our food was either burnt, cold, or inedible. The pork chop sandwich was questionable if it was even meat. Worst nightmare. Do. Not. Go. Here.
My family was on a road trip back February 2022, we were looking for a place for dinner. We pulled up the menu online, and thought the name and pictures looked good. When we arrived, the place was very cute, but the menu online was significantly out of date. No Problem. We proceeded to order, but the food was horrible, worst by far that we had the entire road trip.
Restaurantji Recommends
This is a really find, service was great and their lunches large,,,way to large and wonderful. Great place for families and young kids. Check out the stuffed animals!
Bert & Ernie’s was the greatest tonight! We were there with a large group of 10 and everyone found multiple items that looked yummy. Portions were generous and delicious! Mike took such great care of us and we’ll be back again for sure.
The atmosphere is comfortable; however, the food quality has been up/down. Recently, we learned that you need to pay EXTRA for lettuce, tomato and pickles for an already pricey and certainly not the best cheeseburger- never seen this before in any of my travels. We won't be coming back.
Great service and good food. They are kid friendly too.
We stopped in on a whim for lunch, based on the convenient downtown location, and we were so happy we did! We had a couple of local drafts- I really recommend the Moose Drool- and then ordered salads and sandwiches. The California BLT was a hit. The restaurant decor was kinda eclectic but in a fun way, and the service was so friendly and prompt. I wish we were locals- this would be a frequent spot for us if so.
