i had the beef n chz which was the most popular option and it was amazing, and made with plant based options. tried the chzy roll which has a hotdog in it, pretty good but not as good as the beef n chz. cake was delightful

The large round braided bread and the variety of vegetarian piroshki were delicious and freshly baked. The bakery also offers a great selection of cakes and cookies that are perfect for any sweet tooth. Dear Potato is awesome!! So glad we found this little bakery in Helena. Many vegan and vegetarian foods and baked goods. We ordered soups and various sweet and savory foods, and everything was delicious and unique. Staff was friendly, place was cute and funky. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

We stopped by on our way through because my fiancé follows them on insta. I wanted more of a selection BUT it’s a tiny vegan bakery so I got over that quick and so should you. It is some of the best baked goods I’ve ever had…and my family owned a bakery. Cake pop = bomb, brownie = gooey delicious mouth melting heaven, piroshki = delicious breaki, lunch, dinner. GO THERE NOW! PS: they asked my fiancé if she wanted or corner or middle brownie…what place does that! So considerate, so demure. (As a millennial I’m throwing in all the rizz references and probably wrong)

I was just there! And yes she was right, the walk to the bank was so worth the food! Lol. Long story short... The payment system was down so I had to walk to the bank and get cash. OMG! I got the imposter pig and a huge slice of carrot cake just baked. The food was amazing! The carrot cake...I have no words! Super friendly staff and they take the time to show you and explain what they offer. and the fact they have vegan items... Priceless. I will so be back. Cute funky place to eat. The best! ❤️

Dear Potato is a mostly plant based bakery with majority of options being vegan, including vegan donuts, cakes, soups, breads and stuffed knish type foods. Everything was so tasty. Staff is great. Highly recommended!!

I’ve never been to a restaurant with a perfect 5.0 stars before. This place deserves every star and more. The food is delicious and well-made. The eclectic vibe makes it really fun. The staff is also very helpful explaining the menu and what everything is for a novice like me.
I generally avoid vegetarian/gluten free places. This place is an exception to the general rule that American vegetarian food tastes bad. They have found a way to make it appetizing. If I lived here, I’d come back every day.
Dietary restrictions: All vegetarian except a smoke salmon piroshki. Lots of gluten free options.
