I visited 'The Merc' in Helena and my first impression was that it was a cool little hipster coffee shop. It seemed very rustic and had a vibe that sort of reminded me of Butterfly Herbs in Missoula. Super cute store/cafe, feels like you're in a hobbit hole or old mining store, lots of old lumber and little nooks. My wife used to come here like 25 years ago. Lots of interesting things for sale... Cards, stickers, games, candy, housewares, tea & coffee...
Wonderful drink choices, we love the prego chai tea. Candy and games you haven’t been able to find in years!! Love the fact that there’s no WiFi and they encourage reading and conversing instead!
