Beautiful delicious candy and so many choices. Back in the 1970's, my friend Suzanne and I used to go to every yard sale in Helena on Saturday mornings, and we always went to the Parrot for chili or a tamale with a cherry lime soda as soon as the store opened. Of course we then took our little bags of candy with us as we searched for antiques and other treasures.Parking: Well, it's a walking mall so we parked wherever we found a spot. Sometimes this was a block away!

Visited for the first time, the workers were extremely welcoming and nice. I love that it is all original mostly. It feels you went back in time when you walk in. The candy is amazing.

This place has been here for as long as I can remember. They keep the worlds kindest staff and have the most delicious treats and sweets at a very reasonable price.
2 stars because the place is cute and the candy is good but one employee ruined the rest of the experience. Rudest service I have ever had anywhere. Made me sad because I always go to the Parrot when I visit Helena.

If your a POC don’t go here. I sat literally in front of the staff and not one person said a word to me. While everyone else got help right away. Honestly shaking because I’m so upset. I drove all this way because someone said I must stop here, but was super disappointed. Stay away from Montana if you’re NOT white
