This place hasn't changed much over the years, much to my delight. I used to eat here 40 years ago and it was like stepping back into the familiar. The chicken was great, as I remembered, and I am glad I stopped here for dinner!
Well cooked chicken, but they dont spice it at all, that is how they've always served it. Coleslaw, not a lot of flavor, wife didnt like. Pork & Beans was heavy on molasses, blotted out the tomato like flavor most beans have. If you like bland food, that doesnt have a lot of spice and wont offend your taste buds , this place is right up your alley. Well cooked, this is Helena's spot for chicken and cold beer.
visiting in Helena Montana for the Fourth of July, Was recommended this place by family member… Some of the best chicken I’ve ever had! Super chill vibe And the food was immaculate💯
