The Hopper Kitchen & Market

We love the hopper. It’s easily Helena’s best restaurant in our opinion. I usually get the Montana cheese steak or the Reuben while my wife enjoys the caprese or downtowner burger. We need more consistent dining options in Helena so great job being that example.

Cheesesteak is outstanding, fries are seasoned perfectly. Servers were friendly, got the wrong beer and they fixed it immediately without a question. Definitely recommend.

I recently moved back to Helena and discovered The Hopper—it’s quickly become my new favorite restaurant. The Montana Chickpea Falafel Salad is hands-down the best salad I’ve ever had. My dad ordered a burger with tots, and both were perfectly cooked and delicious. I also tried the Steak Salad, and it was absolutely amazing.

The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is friendly, and the food quality is top-notch. This place has officially become my new weekly lunch spot. Highly recommend!

Absolutely could not find this place. Google maps was no help at all. Very disappointed that we couldn't find this place. Didn't see any signs or even where to park. I guess it's not for out of towners.

Wonderful place located in the cute Helena downtown. They use fresh and local products, and you can tell when you try their food. The menu is small (which I personally really appreciate) and all the plates looked beyond amazing,. I recommend the Churrasco Steak Bowl: the steak was tender and with a great char, and the combination with the beans, grilled corn, greens and vinaigrette was unmatchable. Will definitely come back if I visit Helena again!

We love the Hoppa! Great food, fabulous vibes, excellent location. The Grilled Chicken Brazil Bowl and those Chimichurri Fries are top notch.
