This is the best BBQ since living in Chicago. And then is close. I've gone back twice noe, and I'll be back. If you love, or like, BBQ you have to go to The Rib Shack. 5 stars all the way
This place is the best bbq in Helena, every time we eat here I question how Bad Betty's and Rockstar stay in business. Also to the idiot that reviewed a rib shack at dessfest that wasn't even this place, you sir do not deserve to have the title of local guide.
The service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The owner has that bit down! The atmosphere is incredibly political (a lot of signs about personal beliefs), which isn't something I personally enjoy when I'm trying to go out to eat, but to each their own.The food itself was not anything I would call barbecue. The ribs were ribs, the brisket was brisket, and the sliced pork was sliced pork, but I wouldn't call any of it barbecue. Everything was drier than it should...
