While passing through from St. Louis, we had a delicious lunch at the Uphill Grill. It's a must stop while in Helena. The food was outstanding and the owners / staff were awesome.

Without a doubt, this is one of the best Philly cheesesteaks I've had in a long time. The owner goes above and beyond, and the food is great.
This is a great example: I called once to get a cheesesteak, but they were out of stock. Not a big deal; I thanked them and hung up. The owner called me back about 20 minutes later to say that he had just gotten the ingredients and would be happy to make one for me if I could come by. I went, and it was worth it.
This place says everything about how much work and care goes into it. The service is real, and the food is good. It's clear that the owner cares about his customers. This is the kind of business that I will always support.

Never ate here before, decieded to give it a try and order online so i can avoid the wait. I was unable to place order because it requires you to pay a tip before checking out. I have no problem leaving a tip, but why would i leave a tip and i hadnt recieved any service yet. For example what if i get there and have to wait longer than usual or they get my order wrong. Depanding a tip in order to place an online order is for sure way to turn me away.

Food was very good, large portions. Lots of healthy options. Our first time ordering. Friday afternoon. Called ahead first to be sure they were open and person who answered just sounded irritated, reminding me that they close at 2. I was friendly to her and had a small simple order. Gal at pick up barely spoke. Likely the same person. Seemed like she was having a bad day. So I asked how she was and her crass reply ..."it's great now because we are outa here in fifteen minutes". We ordered 45 minutes before closing and arrived on time.. Left feeling as if our order was an inconvenience which was disappointing, but enjoyed our lunch anyhow. We always try to support our local businesses. SMH
