We literally ordered one of everything. (We told the clerk we were carbo-loading and running a marathon the next day. Not sure she believed us.) The Croque Monsieur was absolutely to-die for (although a bit sparse on the dijon and a bit heavy-handed on the schmear of jam.) Their soup o' the day was a flavorful poblano corn chowder that was served piping hot. Each and every sweet treat we consumed was better than the last. If you don't order the gingersnap cookies, you're not living your best life. The oatmeal pie cookies brought me life. And the lemon meringue tart was inhaled in one fell swoop. In other reviews, people seem incensed about the set-up and décor, but I found the place charmingly quirky. Plus, everyone who worked there buzzed about with an amazing amount of efficiency and gracious hospitality. Whether you're in the mood for sweet or savory, I'll guarantee there's something to appease your appetite. Unless you're gluten-free--and then I fear you're out of luck.“
