Grinnell Tap & Grill

Excellent place to eat! Went there with a friend to see how the new management was and the place has totally turned a new leaf. The shrimp was spot on and my chicken alfredo was perfect. I felt like I was eating in a big city restaurant. Service was so good that I told our server Aspen if she's not management already that she should definitely try for the position if one opens. Her questions, skills, politeness and overall attitude just made the experience worth going out to eat. That is what I expect from a restaurant from now on. Thanks for setting our bar high Aspen! I will be going back to this establishment often.

This was our first visit since previous ownership. It used to be a sports bar. The seating and decor has been updated to give it a more formal vibe. Although that's very nice, the big screen tv's detract from that. We found them distracting and annoying, even though we're sports fans. The food was one or two steps above average. I had fish and chips, my husband had the steak sandwich. Our server, Tali, was outstanding! She definitely made up for the tv's and average+ food. We will give Grinnel Tap & Grill another try and will update this review.

My phone camera doesn't do the food justice.

First thing we walk into is a great steakhouse atmosphere. Dark, but lights in all the right places so it doesn't feel like you're eating in a cave. Standard selection of beers on tap with a solid wine section. The staff was friendly and authentic, and our server was very attentive.

We had the crab cakes, salmon, and chicken Alfredo, and it was absolutely wonderful. Fish cooked perfectly, crab cakes crispy but moist on the inside with a delightful sauce and not overly fishy, and the Alfredo has the warm and comforting flavor that all great alfredos have.

All in all, it was a surprisingly wonderful date night for us. We've been coming to this building over 3 restaurants and this one is the best iteration yet. Will definitely be back again!

The service, location and food make this a fantastic stop after you have been shopping all day. Their turkey and bacon club was amazing and they have a wonderful ambiance!

Wife and I went here 10/13/25. I had a pilsner, a kolsch and the Reuben sandwich. Wife had an amber and the Gyro. Everything was very good. Service was just the right level of attentiveness.

Have had the crab cakes, calamari and shrimp tacos. Going back tomorrow crab and coconut shrimp and Cold Smoke beer. Have yet to have a full meal can’t get past the crab and other appetizers. Next time. Love this place!!

My wife and I had not been to Grinnell Tap and Grill since it changed hands from the Brass Tap. Our loss! We came in for dinner and had a great experience! Shanelle was a kick! Service was great! Our food was excelent (Chicken Alfredo and the Honey Salmon)! Thank you very much and we will be back!

We absolutely love Grinnell! The food is incredible the drinks support local brewery’s/ciderys. The vibe inside is so elevated and modern but also rustic! Amazing customer service tooo! I highly recommend the Whiskey Peach Cider at a whopping 11 percent 🍻

This is the best meal we have had in Kalispell. I had the rib eye with the garlic shrimp and caprese salad for an app along with seafood chowder. The rib eye was juicy and flavorful, tender and cooked perfectly. The shrimp were fantastic. We went to a fancy steakhouse the night before and this place beat them hands down on everything. It was nice to go to a local restaurant instead of some chain I can go to at home. I am very picky and I could have chosen almost anything on their menu. They had so many good selections! Too stuffed for dessert.
