Overall this was an ok experience. We started with soups that somewhat looked like they came from the day before. Our entrees were ok and the steak we ordered had to be asked for twice before we got it. Said steak then had a puddle of juices when it was for a salad. While I would go back for a quick meal there are somethings that could be improved upon, over time.

The food was delicious, our server JoJo was very attentive, friendly and overall was a fantastic server! Our drinks were full, the adult beverages were good and the place was decently packed for a Sunday which was not a problem cause we were sat immediately, highly recommend this place for lunch and dinner!!

Took too long to get check. Would have liked a refill on soda that was expensive but no one checked in after we. Got our food.

I visited this location twice during my very short four day trip to Montana in August and both times were unforgettable! The huckleberry lemonade is a must try! So refreshing and absolutely delicious! They also had a special menu when we were there featuring huckleberry ribs and oh my goodness they were out of this world! We are still daydreaming about them because they were just that phenomenal! I also had a salad with steak added on which was so fresh, flavorful, and filling!
This spot is also so family friendly which made our visit even more special! My daughter loved coloring on the kids menu and was thrilled when they brought her a little cup of Goldfish crackers! Such a sweet and thoughtful touch that made her light up with joy!
A big shout out goes to Riley who served us in August! Riley was exceptional, so friendly, attentive, and made our visits feel extra memorable! With the amazing food, the thoughtful family touches, and the outstanding service I would 100 percent come back again when visiting Montana!!!

We ate here on our last night in Kalispell. We did have a little longer than expected wait for a table and then another delay being greeted by our server.
But, the food was very good. I had the meatloaf and it was outstanding. My wife has a dairy food allergy and they were able to accommodate her by offering several options that were dairy-free or items that could be modified.

We came in really looking forward to dinner, but the experience was frustrating from start to finish. My wife ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, which looked like a chicken breast pounded flat, dropped on bread, and topped with pineapple and cheese — not appetizing at all. I ordered the bison burger medium rare, but it came out completely overcooked, so tough I could barely cut it. Mistakes happen, so I sent it back. After waiting a long time (about 40 minutes in at this point), the second burger arrived — also well done.
What made the situation worse was the manager’s response. He walked up, didn’t introduce himself properly, just said “hi,” and explained he was the manager because the bartender had called him over. I never even asked to speak with him. He apologized over and over (probably 15 times) but never once offered an actual solution. I had to point out that my wife basically had to eat dinner alone while I waited, and even then he didn’t take the lead. I had to suggest removing her meal from the bill — which he then acted like was his idea.
The bartender was the only bright spot — proactive, attentive, and doing their best. But the food quality and especially the management left a really bad impression. A manager’s job is to lead, solve problems, and take care of guests — none of which happened here. Honestly, if this is how issues are handled, it doesn’t inspire confidence in the restaurant
Great food and fantastic service

Went here for something quick to feed the kids, ended up being one of the best meals we had in town. The wedge salad was delicious, pizza was hot and fresh ingredients.

McKenzie River Pizza and Grill is a gem! The pizza is absolutely fantastic—perfectly crispy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. The staff is incredibly friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, ideal for a casual meal with friends or family. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, and the overall experience was top-notch. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving great pizza in a welcoming setting!

If you don’t have Tom as your bartender - Goodluck.
Everything else is amazing, not what it used to be, but good for tourist business!

Picked this place for dinner on a whim. Turned out to be a cool place. Hannah was our waitress, she was great. Very friendly and had a great personality. I had a small bone in my chicken. The meal was still really good.
