This was our first time at the Mercantile and we really liked it. The abundance was nice and the staff was friendly. I ordered the New York strip and it was fantastic. It's a little on the expensive side, but worth it.
We had reservations and were seated promptly. Our server was wonderful. My husband tried the pork chop which was recommended and our party of 4 all want to go back and get it, it was that good. We love their popovers and garlic herb butter. With the increase cost of eggs the popovers are no longer complimentary—we are so glad we each got one, they were as good as we remembered! Worth the $3! One of our favorite places for a good meal.
The Mercantile in Kalispell is a true gem, blending rustic charm with exceptional cuisine. The menu highlights locally sourced ingredients, and the New York steak and prime rib were standouts—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor. While I would’ve liked to see a few more main course options, the quality of the food more than made up for it.
