Classic greasy spoon diner, which is a standard go-to for locals. Went for breakfast. Service was good. Food was okay. Bacon (often debated) was over done, according to my tastes and Eggs were on the light side. Coffee was good. I would go back again. It is connected to a casino and seems a bit sketchy on the outside, but most of the inside is actually cozy and clean. Only two booths are close to the casino doors - most seating has a cozy feel. Prices were pretty reasonable.

The good here used to be soooo good. What happened? Your steaks now look and taste like Happy Steak rejects and your seafood is soggy. I used to recommend everyone to NC for the best steaks.

I used to love eating here. Sadly there's barely a menu. The foods not that great anymore. 😞

Nickel Charlie's has a casual setting with a nostalgic theme. The staff is very helpful and the food is very good.

A good place if you want to want to sit and chat for a while before your food arrives. Beautiful decorations on the walls and kid cars hanging from the ceiling.

The service was great along with the atmosphere but the food wasn't great. The fries and mozzarella cheese sticks were WAY too salty.

Needs a deep clean the cobwebs dripping from the ceiling are getting out of control, the turn over on staff is frustrating but still love to go here regardless and will be a lifer.

Their new menu is a disappointment after going here regularly our whole lives. They had a spaghetti special din er and it was more expensive than at the actual Italian restaurant in town. Very frustrating to not be able to have favorites that are either no longer offered or the recipes changed. We expect places to raise prices these days but some of their prices are ridiculous for the sub par food you end up receiving.

Ordered chicken tenders Nashville hot style. The Nashville hot add was an extra $2.00. The server was shocked and had no idea that option was on the menu. She repeated "chicken tenders hot." We had also ordered some tea and water to drink. The drinks did not come until after our salads had been eaten after we asked her where are our drinks were. When the chicken tenders arrived there was no visible sign they were Nashville hot style. I specifically asked her if they were Nashbille hot. She stated " It's in the seasoning." Tasting the tenders they had no taste of any seasoning. When the bill arrived we had not been charged for the extra. My concern is the server blatantly lied about the season and had no idea how to order our food
Nickle Charlie's is one our go to place to eat. This was by far our worse experience

The inside is a step in the past with their vintage toddler cars hanging from the ceiling. I had the bacon burger with no cheese and medium rare, it came with cheese and over cooked to the point it was crisp and dry. So far it’s been the worst burger so far in the valley. Truly good food is hard to find in Kalispell. The service was just as mad, the server never came back to ask if everything was fine or to give us our bill. Someone else cashed us out. So much for good food and service
