Thai Palace on Main Street in Kalispell is an absolute gem. I ordered the seafood dish and it was beautifully prepared — generous portions, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced flavors. The seafood was tender, the sauce was rich without being overpowering, and you can tell everything is made with care.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service was attentive without being intrusive — exactly what you hope for when enjoying a great dinner downtown.
As a local luxury real estate specialist with PureWest | Christie’s International Real Estate, I’m constantly exploring and recommending the best of the Flathead Valley to my clients. Thai Palace is now firmly on that list. Whether you’re a longtime local or new to Kalispell, this is a must-try.
Supporting local never tasted so good.

I've come here a few times with my family because we really don't have many Thai restaurant options. But I have to say, their cooking is really bad. The tom yum soup and curry are both very bland. The salad gave me stomach issues and diarrhea. I'm really not happy.

Good food, spicy enough at 5 stars. Atmosphere is not great - the space and music make it feel a bit like a library where you can’t speak above a whisper. Service is fine, can’t complain, but I prefer takeout over dining in.

My first time going here, and I’m a tourist. The food is good, I had a Pad Thai (Noodles) and Mango Sticky (Black) Rice. I like the Shrimp as it did taste fresh even though Kalispell is pretty far from the sea. I did like the noodles, pretty good and savory. And actually my first time to get a mango dessert after 7 months being here in the US. The mango tastes sweet yet sour. Tropical mangoes tend to be mostly sweet, good taste of sweetness. I am most familiar that mangoes here is mostly sour, but the mango I got with the sticky rice is sweet, I did love it. Overall, It’s a good place for some Thai food or you’re craving something asian foods. As an Asian I approve of the place ☺️

The barbecue chicken we ordered as appetizer was burnt. The food was relatively expensive.

Ordered take out because atmosphere and condition of the restaurant is pretty "Un special". Person taking order was supper kind, I have to say that. Most dishes are on average of $20. I have to say that Pad Thai that I ordered is just so-so. A little dry, lacking sauce and flavor. Have had this dish in other places and states that is done SO much better. I can make this ok dish at home for much less. Really wanted a quality Pad Thai. They really need to remodel interior of the restaurant too to bring it up to date and
I have eaten here several times, while traveling for work. The food is pretty good. Yelp says they are open till 9 google says 8:30 so after a long day of travel, I drove all the way across town from my hotel for a bite to eat. It was 8:02 8/6/26 they told me they were no longer taking dine in… I left and won’t be back. Mckenzie river pizza took care of me though….

You can get by here fine by asking for tofu and no fish sauce.

Location - in downtown kalispell , easy street parking on a Mon evening Ambiance- casual, fairly spacious Service - extremely short staffed … the lone poor waiter had more than ten tables and plenty of take out food orders to handle … he was trying hard , and I couldn’t really blame him for not providing the best / perfect service … The food - here is why I’m giving this place a 2 star rating : both dishes I tasted were not stellar. The curry sauce in the massaman curry dish was watery and lacking in flavors , and the mixed seafood dish was similarly bland , with the quality of the seafood in the dish very mediocre. For $30, I was expecting better flavors and quality .. I know I maybe unfair in that I’m Comparing this restaurant with other Thai places in other big US cities ? But the food here was frankly disappointing…
I love thai food it is for sure one of my favorites but this place was grotesque. The food was some of the worst thai food on the planet the atmosphere is depressing with no music and no entertainment. The service was ok with a lady coming over to check on us every once in a while. I do not recommend if you are coming from a different state like me.
