Our family came to visit the area and our Air BNB recommended this place. It was busy at 5pm and full indoors so we opted to be seated outside. It was 90 degrees HOWEVER, the owner (I believe) was very accommodating to us by moving umbrella covers to ensure not just my family but others that were also being seated outdoors stayed in the shade. This was above and beyond service. Also, the PBJ appetizer was amazing and we’re going to have to try and recreate it at home! It was THAT good.

So incredibly delicious & so many options to choose from! We love BBQ & this restaurant is easily the best in Flathead and anywhere else in my opinion. All of their staff is incredible but Rob and Rhonda went above and beyond to accommodate us tonight when our daughter was not feeling well. It was a crazy busy Friday evening and they treated us like total VIPs despite the full restaurant with people lining the street to wait for their turn to be seated. Food always comes out hot, so good, and quickly even though it’s totally packed in there. This place is always busy which is a testament to how good it is. If only we lived in Montana full time we would eat here all the time!

We went to DeSoto Grill tonight 7/8/25, and were incredibly disappointed. First, we had an hour and a half wait for our party of 8. We were finally seated outside with very little shade. We asked before we were seated to move to an empty table for 8 in the shade. We were told no, that it wasn’t possible. We asked several other servers and were told no each time about a move. After the table was sitting empty for about 20 more minutes, another party of 8 was seated there (this party of 8 was 2 more down on the waiting list from us). We were all LOCALS and in our 60s and 70s, while this other group was in their 30s and 40s with a few kids and visiting from another state. Let’s see, who should have been given the shaded tables?
It didn’t end there because this other group of 8 also received their drinks and food before us, despite them being seated way after us. When we were ordering (over 45 minutes after we were seated) we were informed that the restaurant had just run out of all types of pork and all margarita mix. None of our meals were very good (nachos, chicken platter, Reuben, and more). The only good item was the strawberry lemonade! I don’t know how this restaurant stays busy by treating their customers, especially locals who would be repeat customers, the way they do! We won’t be back and will definitely won’t recommend DeSotos to our customers, friends and family.

We were on vacation. This restaurant was recommended twice so we had to try it out. The food is delicious! I had the brisket, baked beans, and slaw. Hubby had the super charged BLT. Both were delicious. If you go, save room for dessert because the peanut butter pie is incredible!

My husband and I chose this place on a whim, we’re from the Black Hills of Wyoming in town for vacation. The moment we walked in, it was heaven!!! We’re car people so the atmosphere of this place resonated with us instantly. Family owned (love this and it shows!!!), we met one of the owners who was gracious and welcoming, talked a little shop while our table was being prepped. We were not prepared to have some of the best food ever right out of the gate!!! Holy Smokes!!! Nailed it, we split the combo platter and every bit of it melted in our mouths!!! Pork belly PB&J bites…absolutely a must have!!! 🤤😘 Run, don’t walk TO this place!!! I just to thank the staff who work so hard to make this place as amazing as it is…Y’all are top notch!!! Get here early, because this is a popular spot! There's a reason why, because the food here is so good. Everything we had was terrific, and I'd definitely eat here again.

The staff was very helpful and they were great. We had to wait outside for a while because they had a lot of customers. I can see why. It was seriously worth the wait. Everything we had from the pork belly bites to the Mac n cheese to the brisket and elk sausage. Was delicious. My girl and I appreciated a wonderful dinner at the Desoto Grill. Ps the food was so good we didn't make time for photos.

I had the brisket platter with beans and Mac and cheese. It was very delicious! The corn bread is the best I've ever had. Ohh yes and the huckleberry cheesecake was awesome! I would definitely recommend eating here! Thanks!
