Absolutely pleasure through out, the staff are very hard working you can see. Even with what I'm sure is a solid shift, they still treat you extremely good. The nachos with brisket mmmmmmmm, this is a must. However be cautious ⚠️ its larger than you imagined. 10 out of 10 for the entire event. If your close by and thinking about trying, don't have regrets. Just get in there and soak it in!!

Heard from several how great this place was and was excited to go. Quickly seated and service was nice, but the food......I didn't love it. Neither did my wife. The meat was not awesome. Mac n cheese just wasn't cheesey and creamy. And the Huckleberry cheesecake was offered as the best around, it is not.

If you are looking for the best barbecue in the Kalispell area then this place is it. We got there a bit before closing and it was still packed but the staff was kind enough to seat us after a brief wait. The atmosphere is very laid back and on top of that there is quite a bit of history in this building which adds to the charm of the place. I ended up with the brisket sandwich that was incredible. It had a great smoky flavor on top of being nice and tender and not dried out. If you are looking for some amazing food at a place that's friendly and laid back this place should be on the top of your list.
Desoto catered our wedding this summer and we had an amazing experience with them. Shawnna was so easy to work with and helpful with determining what and how much to order. They arrived on time and the service + food was incredible. I also love that they are a family owned business with recipes that have been passed down. The corn bread + honey butter, elk sausage, beans, and cobbler were our favorite. Thanks for making our wedding food delicious!

Desoto Grill did not disappoint. We had elk sausage appetizer, (delicious and beautifully presented) brisket platter with grilled veggies and slaw, and a summer salad with grilled chicken. From the arrival of the cornbread we knew it was going to be exceptional. No reservations, so go early and enjoy!

We ordered carry out from Desoto for our micro wedding dinner. We are from out of state, so I worked with Shawnna over the phone and email to get everything ordered. She was super helpful in picking our menu for our event - all 17 of our guests and vendors complimented how AMAZING the food was! The cornbread was so delicious, my brothers were fighting over who got the last piece! They packaged everything perfectly for us so we could easily toss it in the oven to reheat it! I had sent my brother and father to pick up the food and they both commented on how nice the staff and owner (Shawnna) was. If you have an upcoming event, definitely consider catering from Desoto - or go there for your next date night!
