“This place has such a cool speakeasy vibe! Really good, quality alcohol and delicious ingredients. My husband had the new fashioned, and I had the cowboy lullaby. Highly recommend the cowboy lullaby is you like chamomile, and a light taste of citrus and honey!!!“

“My friend was in town and we decided to try this place out! From the moment we walked through the door, we loved the ambiance and felt welcomed by staff. We went in at about 5:45pm and there were a handful of other patrons, but plenty of barstools available for seating. We were given menus immediately and were not rushed to order. I didn't catch our bartender's name, but they were very kind and had some super cool glasses! We each ordered a cocktail and then we ordered three small plates--croquettas (croquettes), ensalada tomate (marinated tomato/onion/olive salad), and the pan con tomate (toast with tomato). The croquettas were our favorite! My friend had the Little Birdy cocktail which was fruity and refreshing. I can't find the name of the one I ordered on their menu online but it had Sevilla orange gin, lemon and a few other ingredients. It was equally delicious and refreshing and I loved the presentation of the cocktails. Our subtotal was $35, which we felt was fair for the drinks and food we ordered. It was $10 per cocktail and a total of $15 for the three pintxos. I will definitely return to Bar Plata soon and would recommend it to Missoula residents and visitors!
Vegetarian options: Some of the small plates are vegetarian and I believe the sandwich (bocadillo) may be as well but I would always recommend confirming with your bartender!
Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten and dairy free options! I did not ask about their procedures for allergies or cross contamination so definitely check with staff before ordering!“

“Charlie B’s is a fantastic spot, whether you’re in the mood for a cold beer or a strong cocktail. The bartenders are friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. The attached restaurant, Dinosaur Café, serves up some excellent dishes, but the real hidden gem is Tabby’s Take and Bake. Their thin-crust pizza is outstanding—perfectly crispy with just the right amount of sauce. While you’ll need to place your order in advance and pick it up on Sunday, trust me, it’s absolutely worth the wait!“

“Service was quick and we got a nice crash-course in Missoula/Montana drinking culture just off our flight. I liked my fish tacos and the bartenders were a hoot and a half! Plus, you know a place is legit when they have a big ole Steinbeck quote.“

“What a sweet bartender we had! One of the managers from the earlier shift made muffins for everyone and we were lucky enough to be included! Drinks are delish and the atmosphere is fun. We were able to experience the traditional "21" right of passage fire shot ! Good stuff ☆“

“We had a family get together 15 people this past Sunday and they helped make sure we could be seated together. Our server, Taylor, couldn’t have been more attentive and did a fantastic job. The food was absolutely amazing! The beef bites might be the best thing I’ve ever eaten. Tater tots are delicious and the portions are insane. Never an empty glass which with our family is key :-). “Love this place, strong drinks and reasonably priced middle shelf whiskey. My favorite dive, the real neon red lighting always makes me feel at home. The vibe definitely changes constantly but it's always fun to stop in. It's just as good with a couple of regulars chatting at the bar or standing room only on a Friday night. Oh, and you can get food until midnight if the Whiz Kid is open.“

“The bartender was very pleasant and efficient. She explained that the restaurant part is totally separate and told us what the specials were and that all the dressings were homemade and that the chicken wings were excellent.
The chef was very nice, the wings, tenders, FF were excellent. So nice to get real food in a bar!!!“

“5$ cover but told it could be as much as 15$. We came on a Saturday with a live DJ. We are from out of town and told this was the only “club” for dancing. First bar you walk up to only had one server and took a while for drinks did not know about the other bars around the corner. It was busy, music was great and the bass was excellent. Lots of fun with a group of girls.“

“The best Saloon!! We got recommended this spot from some locals and it did not disappoint. We showed up with about 20 people and everyone had a great time. Even added so dollar bills for the wedding we had down in Hamilton. Thank you so much for your hospitality and staying true to Montana. This place is a great authentic spot. Must go!“
