“The staff is very friendly and the food is great! Plus I have a gluten allergy and not only do they have multiple options, the staff is knowledgeable about celiac disease and the cook is careful with preparation of the food. I highly recommend this restaurant. We were visiting from Michigan and were so happy with our experience here!!”

“Best part of our trip! It’s been a week and we’re still talking about the huckleberry cheesecake. We tried the pulled pork sandwiches, huckleberry gin and tonics, ribs, and mac n cheese. In the morning we had a couple different kinds of coffee, all were great! Everything was fantastic! Staff at the window were awesome as were the staff for the campground, should we ever find ourselves back at glacier we will absolutely be staying at the campground and eating at the sunflower cafe! Ps we need the huckleberry cheesecake recipe 👀”

“Carolyn’s Cafe has the Best Breakfast around! Anyone traveling to Glacier National Park should eat here. Most of our Guests end up there multiple times during their stay with us. We frequently go ourselves and have never been disappointed. The service is fantastic and the food is even better. I absolutely love the French Toast!”

“They denied my grandfather who is 71 years old has had double knee surgery and has heart problems since I could remember a chair at the bar and a glass of water. Benngy was the bar tender and told my grandfather to get up since he wasn’t getting anything. My grandmother who is 70 years old and my 23 year old sister was looking at the menu at the bar and Benngy took it from their hands. As a new business I thought customer service was a top priority but I guess not in this town. With a party of 9 the tap could have been 400$ plus a a generous tip. We took our business to the Gunsight saloon and when we asked for a glass of water they gave to us immediately”
“We ate here many times…breakfast and dinner. The first time was amazing! The hash-browns were seasoned so well and were delicious. The gravy bear was delicious each time I tasted it! Pancakes were good. The sausage patties were Han-formed and so good!
Dinner: The macaroni and cheese is the BOMB! The Aloha Chicken was good but pretty small considering the price. The ribeye was really good though!
The reason it’s 4 star and not 5 is this:
The last day I ate there, I ordered the big bear with eggs over medium and white toast. When it arrived, the toast was burnt. The egg yolks were almost cooked almost all the way through. See pictures. I removed the egg whites and ate that. The hash-browns had chunks of burnt pieces in it, too. It was at the end of breakfast service but when I asked for toast that wasn’t so burnt, I received a barely toasted piece of bread that was basically the chef saying, “You want toast that’s not burnt, how about this then? Screw you, lady!”
The waitress was a doll and apologized profusely. They ended up bringing me proper toast. I know it sounds like a lot, but over our time at the KOA, we spent at least $500 in that cafe. I just expected better and was taken aback by the rude gesture from the chef.
The view is amazing! Outside when it’s cool, the heaters were welcome. When it got hot, to roof was welcomed shade. The inside is cozy. I really liked the upstairs balcony!”

“Cooking that hits the spot, thy style that brings me right back to those good days. Its exactly what everyone needs more of, a nice calm atmosphere with great staff and owners. It's not FINE dining, being it's a small town restaurant in Montana, but once you soak up everything, it seems to be exactly what was needed.. GREAT COOK GREAT STAFF everything is clean especially the fryers”

“When I opened an order placed before Christmas, I found two jars of preserves had been left out. I emailed the Huckleberry Patch, and within two hours, they replied with an apology and the corrective action they took. In our fallible humanity, we will always make mistakes. It's what we do about them that counts. Because of the integrity demonstrated by this employee and company, I will be ordering more frequently. The Huckleberry Patch has earned my highest recommendation.”

“My family stopped at Freda's for late lunch after our trip on the Going to the Sun Road. We walked toward the counter at the back and placed our order, I had the cubano, my niece the ceasar salad, my nephew and father both had the bison smash. Once we got out pager we got our fountain drinks and sat at a table outside. They also have an ice cream bar to the right when you walk in. The food was really good. Nice place to stop in West Glacier Village before or after going to the park.”
