We threw a surprise party for my best friend in the Barrel Room and it was PERFECT! Margot was incredible at navigating a nuanced large group and made sure every detail was kept track of and taken care of. She was professional and incredibly nice to everyone, making the experience all the more memorable. And the space was gorgeous. I couldn’t have asked for a better evening!

Great place to eat, large selection of wine and awesome service.
Fantastic drinks, the steaks were cooked to perfection, our server Marie, the chef, and the bartender did an AWESOME job with each aspect of the experience!

I've been coming to Pangea since it opened. This last Thursday 12/5 was such a a poor experience that I won't be going back. I stood at the front entrance for almost 10 minutes without being sat by a host. I finally sat myself at the bar, only to listen to the two bartenders ostracize my decision to sit myself down at the bar. These two would continue to talk poorly of their customers including myself over the next hour that I was there. Due to my discomfort I ate my food as fast as I could so I could leave.
Fell for it again, was seated there tonight and 30+ minutes passed without even being asked for a drink order (so we just left), and in the past once you order a drink it takes another 30 minutes to get it..and the food, well you usually wait a good hour to be served after the 45 minutes waiting to get your order in.
Just poorly operated

My wife and I are visiting Missoula for the first time and chose to have dinner at Pangea last night! We were looking for a restaurant that had a special atmosphere and excellent food and drinks. Pangea exceeded all of our expectations!! We each ordered a specialty cocktail that were second to none!! We both couldn’t resist ordering the Oscar Filet which was better than any served at a 5-star steak house or cruise ship specialty dining venue. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and literally melted in your mouth! The sauce that accompanied the dish was expertly prepared with layers of delicious flavors.
The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about providing us with a
first-class dining experience.
The chocolate cake was so incredible that after sharing one, we ordered a second one!
We highly recommend Pangea to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience that cannot even be found in larger cities.
We are looking forward to visiting Missoula again sometime soon so that we can, once again, experience Pangea, as once was not enough.

Have ordered from here many times throughout the years.
Last night's food was so dry it was basically rice rolled in spice. Also the pad thai was just completely fishy taste undeniable just throw out. Worst $60 spent at a restaurant.

Really good food. Although we are very disappointed that they got rid of the tuna tar tar tacos appetizer. The atmosphere looks nice but is extremely loud when busy. It makes it hard to talk with one another.

We love Pangea and always enjoy the welcoming atmosphere. We were there to support the Missoula Symphony (thank you, Pangea for all the support), enjoying the pre-fixe dinner, which was very reasonable considering Pangea's usual menu. A good variety of entrée selections were offered. We both chose the sirloin which was delicious and tender. Salads were outstanding. The atmosphere early in the evening is quite lively, with many children present and --um-- active. The ambiance of this restaurant is always bright and buzzing but those wanting a quieter dinner might aim for later in the evening reservations.
The food was excellent as well as the atmosphere. Our waitress was attentive, but very slow. We ordered one type of fries and got another. Our drinks took forever because she had forgotten to put them in. Just little things that ended up taking away from our dining experience.
This place is absolutely amazing. The food was fresh and delicious!! Best crab cakes we've ever had- freshest crab we've had in Montana!! Their salmon was cooked perfectly and their French dip was fantastic !! Juicy, cheesy and cooked to a T !! The service was immaculate as well ! Our waiter Samy was super helpful and all around a really joyful individual ! My drink - dragon fruit mojito - was amazing ! I'm no Gordon Ramsay but it's a 5 star restaurant for me !!!

We loved our dinner at Pangea. The restaurant has a beautiful decor. There were many drink and food options to choose from. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was excellent. The food was well prepared and delicious.
Food was great, service was even better. Informed waitress of celiac gluten allergy, and she had no problem recommending dishes that would be safe for my wife to eat. Food came out quickly, didn't have to chase staff down for a second drink. Best dinner I've had in Missoula in a while!
