I’ve had sushi from coast to coast in the U.S., and this spot doesn’t quite meet expectations. First, the rolls here are smaller than average, yet priced a bit higher. Second, the restaurant puts its own twist on sushi by incorporating ingredients like wagyu and goat cheese. Usually wagyu is served in the nigiri style with a bigger and simpler portion of meat and rice. When added to a small sushi roll it loses its effect. Personally, I’ve never seen goat cheese on sushi...

The food is always amazing! Service is usually top notch also but we had to continually ask for water and when it was brought one or two glasses were filled when others needed filled also. Maybe it was an off night but the check was brought and we were planning on dessert but changed our mind due to our waitress seemingly wanting to seat more guests.

Delicious as always! The rolls are all beautiful and creative. We sat in the back room, which I didn't even know existed, and it was great. Beautiful wall of lanterns, big windows and another cherry tree.
