The Oxford Cafe was recommended by the hotel clerk. It was quaint, historic and picturesque. There was a small gaming room with slots, but I don't gamble. Food was edible, but unremarkable. My husband said his steak was tender, cooked correctly and absolutely tasteless. I had fish and chips, which was good. They serve cheap wine.
Extremely friendly employees who went above and beyond by making my burger when it looked like they were wrapping up. I entered at 10:25 under the impression this spot was 24 hours but it seems the kitchen closes at 11 and they were already wrapping up but said they were happy to make me some food. Unfortunately, the food was not great at all. Unseasoned crinkle fries and one of the most bland burgers I've had in memory. Poor quality produce as well. Great people though.
This place is a dive in ALL the right ways. Cheap drinks. Cheap food. Food served till late late late. This place is AMAZING. if you’re coming to this place expecting something high end… it’s not. And that’s why we all love it. Hits DIVE in all definitions plus serves food and it’s a gem essential to Missoula.
