The food and drink is so flavorful & colorful I really felt like I was transported to Asia somewhere. ;) Absolutely delicious, I couldn’t stop raving about it. Overall a cute and interesting little place with amazing food. I really enjoyed my experience.

I ordered to-go. I ordered pad-thai NO heat..The pad-thai was so spicy I couldnt eat it. The hostess point blank told us that they DO NOT prioritize to-go orders. Gratuity was automatically added for a pick up order. Gratuity is a customer's choice based on service and I was FORCED to give it. For one person's meal it was $40 and it wasnt worth it. PANDA express is leaps and bounds better. This restaurant should be ashamed for charging what they do. Mass making food NOT to order (because why was my non-spicy food so spicy I cou8ldn't eat it) and forcing gratuity while making me wait for OVER AND HOUR.
0 out of 10 I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Party of 4. Ordered 2 appetizers, both good. Dumplings and spring rolls. Pad Thai was good not great. Rice dish was very sticky rice with little flavor. Added chicken for extra cost and there was hardly any. Stir fry looked very good. Can be very spicy. Not sure if it just happened to be the crowd, but the noise level was worse than a high school cafeteria. Service was good.

Walking into Zoo Thai in Missoula felt like being serenaded by a pad Thai choir—flavors dancing so hard, I half-expected them to break into a chorus. And don’t worry, vegetarian friends: the veggie options here are so plentiful, you might think the menu is on a plant-powered mission.
The ambiance? Think “Southeast Asian spa meets Montana chill.” It’s cozy, welcoming, and somehow feels like your best friend’s living room—if your best friend played sitar and served coconut curry.
The food? Unbelievably good. I attempted a casual “just one bite” of my spring rolls and ended up questioning every life choice that led me away from Zoo Thai sooner. The veggie pad see ew? Let’s just say it has more charisma and flavor than my uncle at a karaoke night.
If you’re in the mood for a culinary party—especially if you're vegetarian or just veggie-curious—Zoo Thai is your flavor safari. Warning: you may emerge refusing to ever eat sad desk lunch again.

I was absolutely blown away by this place. Me and my partner came here and shared a few things. We got the eggrolls, steamed dumplings, and I got the “pad see ew”. Each bite was new flavors and everything paired so well together. Everything was incredible. We will definitely be coming back!

Very confusing interaction with our server.
Beware that the spice levels are not the same across all dishes. A 2 star spice on a curry is not the same as a 2 star spice on a noodle dish.

Amazing Thai food. We always enjoy the experience
Ordered takeout. Paid extra to add broccoli to my meal, didn't come with broccoli. Also, we didn't get our Thai tea or Thai lemonade we ordered. So... Bonus $13 for them, I guess. Food was otherwise great.

Oh my was this place great. The rice noodles were divine. I got the level 5 spicy. It was realistically only a 3 but they tried. I would eat here again and again. I look forward to trying the fried rice some time. The price vs portion was fantastic.
