Pleasantly surprised. Great made fresh food, drinks and desserts. We had huckleberry margs, the bison meatloaf, braised ribs with pappardelle pasta and the beer cheese pretzels. Yum! All were fresh and great tasting. Service is perfect. They also have a military discount.
Prepare your wallet, it is definitely overpriced for what it is. Tourist trap vibes. My wife said the cheeseburger tasted manufactured but liked the salad. I thought the bison burger was amazing, so mixed reviews. Chips were soggy and not crisp. It's a cafe with fancy restaurant prices. Gift shop is nice, a bit larger than others in the area but with much of the same stuff.
We stopped at this restaurant for lunch. They had had a power outage so that has to be taken into account but service was very slow. The food tasted good, especially the apple, arugula, goat cheese salad which was delicious! Unfortunately, the food (soup, quesadilla ) and coffee was served cold and we asked for the soup to be reheated. Desserts are delicious!
