This is a great little restaurant and bar. There is a restaurant downstairs with a great salad bar, or you can eat up in the bar area which was spacious and the waitress was friendly and attentive. The prime rib was great! Will definitely go back again.
I was staying in Sidney for a few days, and ordered food from South 40 a couple of times. I used Doordash, so can't comment on the staff, service, or atmosphere.
But my food orders were good. We had the beef dip, spinach and artichoke dip, chicken strips, and mozza sticks. Can't complain about any of it. Food was cooked well, nothing undercooked or overcooked. Everything tasted great.
I'd order from here again if I found myself...

We love it when we find a good time warp restaurant with a salad bar. The salad bar was super fresh, and everyone who was dining when we were there was getting it, too. The decor was straight from the 1970s or early 80s, which is fun as well. We will definitely be back if we are in the area again, and we highly recommend this restaurant.
