What a wonderful surprise for an excellent meal at this beautiful national park. Great food choices, reasonable prices, in an appropriate woodsy atmosphere.
We had breakfast and dinner in the Russell's Dining Room twice each. Service varied significantly between meals. Labor Day weekend and end-of -summer may have impacted staff availability and enthusiasm.
Our server Jax was great, loved his upbeat attitude especially considering he also worked morning shift. He made all the difference in today’s meal. You can tell servers are understaffed leading to a slow service. They should have more servers and less cleaners.
