Bar N Ranch

Our stay here was amazing. The views, the staff, the food, and especially Rons cooking and Huckleberry jam!! This was one of the best experiences I’ve had and will likely return!

OMG what impeccable service! We loved our stay, we were always well served with a smile and generosity. Everything was amazing! Perfect amenities, we lacked nothing.
The beef stew, served in the evening by the fire, was excellent as were the pancakes in the morning.
Very close to the Park and West Yellowstone, excellent location. I highly recommend.

It was ok, but definitely not worth the price. The bathrooms are very outdated. The jet tub is nothing to “write home about”. The rooms do not have controls for the A/C or heat so it got pretty stuffy for us. The fan helped some. The restaurant was not inside the lodge, but a short walk. The views were not the best because the canvas tents kind of took away from the photo opportunities. It was not far from town. I don’t think we would stay here again, but that’s just our opinion.

We stayed there for four nights. We kept expecting to see one of the Duttons come riding over the hill. Great spot, very accommodating, and now my wife knows how to build a fire.

Definitely recommend going to The Bar N Ranch restaurant if you’re staying there or at Under Canvas West Yellowstone! Although a bit pricey, the food and cocktails were delicious. Our waiter Kyle was super nice and even recommended a hike based on one of our drinks we ordered. Worth the splurge for a nice dinner here!

It's a really nice hotel in a beautiful location. The drive to Yellowstone Park is quick and easy. There are lots of fun things to do at the ranch, for example they had premade s'mores kits for everyone to use on one of the many fire pits. But what really stood out is the service. We had some trouble with our reservation and an incredibly kind and understanding woman named Ashley, who works at the front desk, helped us out and resolved the problem quickly. Great experience. Thank you!

Bar-N-Ranch is a top notch accommodation. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well fed. The property is very relaxing, and the view is amazing.

I like the hotel very much. The surrounding environment is beautiful. It is about 9 miles away from West Yellowstone. It is also very convenient to enter Yellowstone Park.

This little gem is a fantastic place to stay. We’ve rented cabins there twice now and both times it’s been a wonderful experience. The cabins are very well appointed, the staff is very friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is extremely relaxed. The views of the surrounding meadows and mountains are stunning. The ranch also has a very nice restaurant and bar on the premises if you don’t want to go into town for a meal.
The Bar N is located about 5 miles due west of the town of West Yellowstone, which sits at the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. This combination makes it extremely easy to spend a week doing as much as you want without getting bored and you still won’t have scratched the surface of what this place has to offer. Go souvenir shopping, go to a rodeo, go kayaking or rent a boat on Hebgen lake (A gorgeous lake!) or spend days in Yellowstone National Park seeing things that will take your breath away.
The Bar N Ranch gives you access to all of this and more. It’s a destination you won’t forget and will always speak of fondly. I’ve travelled a lot and highly recommend this place. If you like great, open spaces in the mountains, you will too.

Rooms: The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, all the cabins have a fireplace and the staff sees that they are stocked with lots of dry wood. There isn’t much in the way of cooking. You’ll have access to a grill next to your cabin, things like a refrigerator and a microwave but there is no stove or things like pots and pans to cook with. This was fine with us because we didn’t want to do a lot of cookIng while on vacation! It’s good to know going into it through.
