This is not Southern BBQ. I say this because I specifically asked where it originated from. The waitress said Tulsa. There is no salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, garlic salt, Season All, pepper. NOT A THING. I said I wasn’t a fan and she said well you ordered it so you have to pay! And told me there are people that love this BBQ. It’s because they haven’t tasted ANY OTHER. The sandwich is $21.99. Now I am going to be honest and tell you I’m a black woman from TEXAS that BBQ’s for my family all the time.

Excellent BBQ especially for an area of the country not known for BBQ. Very good, friendly, helpful service. The aesthetics and atmosphere were decent and fitting for a BBQ joint. We had the ribs which were outstanding and chopped brisket which was very good. The creamed corn, which was not all that creamy was outstanding. The baked beans were very tasty but also had a lot of liquid. The cole slaw was decent but I personally prefer my slaw a little less dry. The cheesy grits missed the mark. We would definitely go back again.

Unfortunately one server on slightly busy Wednesday evening. We ordered sliced brisket to go. It was good though on fatties side.
The cheesy grits and cream corn were great. The corn had just right amount of cream and hatch chilies.
May consider eating in next time as even though she was working solo, she kept positive

We’re expecting good bbq and was so disappointed. No good meat flavor, absolutely dry, the sides didn’t make up for it. The staff member was nice.

We came out of the park starving. One member of our group wanted brisket. We should have gone somewhere else.

The brisket was fatty and did not have much flavor. Turkey was dry not moist. The cheese grits were thick and bland. The slaw was vinegary and nothing to write home about. Someone got beans and they said they were OK.

Overall I don't think I will go back. For the price i think other places deserve my business.

I have traveled the country sampling Barbecue everywhere, and it's difficult to find someone to do it right. Beartooth was great! I ordered the brisket, like I always do, and it was tender and moist, not dry like many briskets can get from long cooking. And, I have to say something about the wit staff, too. The young lady (I don't remember her name, but she had a polite way and a beautiful smile that made my dinner party feel welcomed and well cared for. If you're passing through West Yellowstone, make sure you stop at the Beartooth for lunch or dinner.

Reaaaaaly good barbecue. Ribs and pulled pork very good. We split a combo plater with an extra side was enough for us and no doggybag. Local drafts a good choice, give it a try when in town... just a short walk from hotels.

Friendly welcome ‘just sit yourselves down’ then took ages for the server to finish a long conversation with another two customers before she came over to take our orders.
Food was ok but a bit dry and nothing special.
