Great Brisket!

We got back late from the park and were starved so we just kind of randomly picked this place as we were driving back to the 1872 hotel(highly recommended). The place was packed which was a good sign but irrelevant since we just wanted to take our food back to the room. Tired, so we just kinda picked something(anything,haha)and took off. Our order was ready very quickly, I didn't even look inside, just paid and left. Boy,oh boy were we surprised. The brisket sandwiches were massive and all our sides were awesome. I love barbecue and I couldn't remember ever having anything better. If you love barbecue I can't stress enough how much you'll enjoy this place. It's outstanding.

In town on vacation from IL and this was some of the best BBQ we’ve had!! Would definitely recommend if you are passing through on your way.

I am not sure if it was the cut brisket I ate (was full of fat) or not hygienic food preparation; I ended up in the bathroom all night.

I was in west Yellowstone in 2022 and I ate here two nights in a row because the food was absolutely delicious. I have been looking forward to eating here for months after planning another trip to Yellowstone. I was telling my dad how good it was and I couldn't wait to get here and have some bbq. Boy was I disappointed. We ordered a brisket sandwich, a pulled pork sandwich, green chile creamed corn, and potato salad. Both meats were extremely dry...like I had to take a drink after each bite and smother it with sauce to make it edible. The potato salad was horrible. The corn was delicious. My dad didn't even eat half his meal and he typically eats anything. I ate most of mine simply because I hadn't eaten all day because I wanted to save my appetite for the bbq! If you are a bbq restaurant, the number one concern should be your meat being dry. To add to it, they had the door propped open and it wasn't warm outside. I don't like to be chilly while I'm trying to choke down essential jerky on a bun.

We came to Beartooth Barbecue after walking out of Firehole BBQ. (The worker @ Firehole that was taking our order was very rude and yelled at us because we ordered our sides before he was done with our meat. So we just left and came to Beartooth.)
Our server at Beartooth (I think her name was Kiki) was super nice and friendly. The other waitress that was working seemed very friendly with her customers as well. The ribs and brisket were both super tender and really good!
Beartooth atmosphere was very pleasant, relaxed and comfortable, unlike Firehole that was so busy and had no where to sit.... and had employees yelling at the customers.
We are from Nebraska, but if we ever come back to this area, we will definitely be stopping here again!

Everything was so good here especially after a long day at Yellowstone NP. Service was excellent and food was super tasty!! Great beer selection as well. Highly recommend this place!
