Bear Country Bakery

We had a planned trip to West Yellowstone on 2/18/25, which also fell on my Sister-in-Laws birthday. We weren’t going to arrive before Bear Country Bakery closed for the day so they were awesome enough to take my order and then deliver it to the hotel where we were staying. The service over the phone was outstanding and the cake was not only beautiful, but so very delicious! Thanks so much for helping to make our trip that much more special.

Google showed this bakery as open on Saturday, 11/9/24. We arrived during business hours, but it was closed and the phone number listed does not belong to the business. And the website does not open; a pop up says the address is invalid.

I’m not sure what’s in that icing on the cinnamon roll, but chefs kiss! It’s amazing and not heavy or too sweet. Also, a whole quiche for $20!? yes please!!

Small (like three tables inside) coffee and baked goods shop right on the main strip. The baked goods were spectacular but the coffee was fine at best. Definitely recommend the bear claws and the elk sausage wrap!

Best place to get bear claws! They have so many different flavors. We got the chocolate and white chocolate raspberry. So delicious! Their coffee was great too.

We ordered our wedding cake from Bear Country Bakery. They were very easy to work with even with us being out of state. Communication was great and they were very responsive! Plus, the cake tasted and looked amazing!!

I arrived at this bakery right as it opened at 7 a.m., and there was already a small line forming, which I took as a good sign. However, the service was quite slow, as there was only one person handling both coffee orders and serving customers.

I ordered a latte and a blueberry muffin. While the latte was good, the muffin was extremely dry—so much so that it was nearly inedible, even with the latte to wash it down. It was disappointing, especially considering how good it looked.

Overall, the coffee was decent, but the food and service could use some improvement.

We got 3 danishes, all of which were undercooked. The bottoms were completely squished and raw, the tops retained their layers but were nearly white due to the underbaking. There were also nearly no fillings (the apple one literally had 3 pieces of apple in the entire thing)
