Cypress Yard Mediterranean Restaurant

Cypress yard has done an amazing job hosting our group lunches here every Sunday for the last 8 weeks this summer. We preorder and we show up to our table ready and dialed for our groups to sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoor space they’ve arranged. Thanks a ton!!!

The food is delicious, atmosphere is delightful especially outside, service is very good! Morgan and staff do a great job!

Fortunate to visit Cypress Yard for a grooms dinner in August so the set up was a bit different than the normal operation. That being said, the Cypress Yard is a delight. The interior is well designed with a variety of art on display and for purchase. The yard and garden area was a real hidden treasure. A variety of unique libations with a local flair are available and the food we enjoyed was terrific. Staff was attentive and the atmosphere made you feel at home. This is a venue that I would think of more in a bigger city, but it is a small treasure. I encourage you to stop in for a visit.

1st time going was great, second not so much. Ordered a vegan sandwich with fresh veggies and my wife ordered spaghetti with marinara. After waiting 50 minutes we still didn't have our food. I told the waitress we no longer had an appetite so I wanted to cancel the order. She cam back with our orders in a bag and said it was on the house with was nice. When I got home to see what the sandwich was it was two pieces of burnt bread with two cooked mushroom caps lol. Probably won't be going back.

Great local Whitefish hangout...I gave 5 stars for the burger, but hope to try more food in the future, and possibly see a larger menu. The atmosphere is great, and they have picked up the slack for the brewery's closing.

Great food and great atmosphere. The prime rib is amazing. Probably had the best patio in town with excellent outdoor seating. Definitely worth a visit.

I am sincerely confused about the reviews here. Instead of the vibrant robust delicious Mediterranean, we got some sad tiny bland misnomers. We left hungry after leaving about 100.00. If you expect Mediterranean, this isn't it, by far. Oh, and ask about all of the "disclaimers" on the dishes you order because what you get will differ from the description on the menu.

Cypress Yard is a lovely combination of good food and art gallery. I had the Raclette (small roasted potatoes with raclette cheese melted over them) as an appetizer and the lamb chops with roasted vegetables as an entree. Both dishes were deliciously prepared by their new chef. My friend and I shared both of these and it was more than enough. Morgan Cawdry is the owner and provided excellent service. The art work on the walls is by local artists, is for sale, and adds greatly to the ambiance.

Rather expensive for what you get. Portions were small, but quality was fairly good.

Elegant dining space, prompt service, carefully thought-out menu of upscale bar favorites. I will certainly come back!

Great environment and great food!

Had a great Sunday brunch here! Unique menu, friendly staff, large space. We were seated immediately which is a plus compared to downtown Whitefish.

This is a not to be missed spot when visiting Whitefish!
