The dinners during ski season are a real treat. Great food as always but different, more elevated menu in the same great atmosphere. Amazing place all around.

This restaurant is on the mountain so wear appropriate footwear. It is quaint and has a nice bar. Had the duck and dumplings which was excellent. Also this place as a unique cocktail menu. Nice place for dinner and/or lunch.

We ate twice at Hellroaring saloon. The first was outstanding with prime rib special and pork chops. The second was Just OK. They were out of the pork chops (I was going to order again) and the daily special at 6:45. My wife had chicken breast and Brussels sprouts. I ordered a starters of lamb chops and and Brussels sprouts for my main. The Brussel sprouts were under done without much for spicing. My wife's fingerling potatoes were also borderline underdone. A shame to leave this review as we like this restaurant and the first night was so good. The pork chop meal was outstanding. We love the atmosphere and our service was good.

I have never had a bad meal here and have been coming for over ten years. I always enjoy their dinner options my personal favorite is the duck.

If you’re skiing at whitefish, you have to come here! Our ski instructor said they have the best food on the mountain, and he was 100% right! The atmosphere is so cute, and the food was some of the best we had on our trip. It’s such a gem, and it’s right on the hill for ski in and ski out access.

We frequent Hellroaring during ski days. It was a delight to visit for dinner--completely different vibe and entirely wonderful. Great food. Staff were kind and attentive and skillful. Look forward to going again.

Hellroaring Saloon absolutely crushed it.
Brought a group of 10 people, and every single one of us walked out impressed. The staff is next-level — genuinely friendly, attentive, and on top of everything without hovering. You can tell they actually care about the experience, not just turning tables.
The food was outstanding — hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. Big portions that actually justify the price (which is rare these days). Everything was priced right, especially for the quality and quantity you get.
Service was smooth from start to finish, even with a large group. Drinks stayed full, food came out timely, and no one felt forgotten — which says a lot.
If you’re looking for a place with great energy, killer food, solid value, and staff that makes you want to come back, Hellroaring Saloon delivers across the board. We’ll absolutely be back. 🍻

Reservation at 7:30 on a Saturday, and they ran out of three of the main course dishes. Disappointing meal since our first and second choices were no longer available. Appetizer came out after our main meal was served. Otherwise, the staff were friendly, and the service was good for what it was.

Such an amazing place . A favorite of ours when visiting Whitefish . Classic Skeye lodge charm with amazing food. 

My husband and I hosted the welcome dinner for our wedding here. The staff were amazing! Adam was very communicative through email on organizing everything. The food was OUTSTANDING. All of our guests commented on how good the food was, and there are lots of choices if you have dietary needs. Pricing wise, we found them very reasonable and felt we definitely got a great value for such high quality service and food. This venue is great to show off the Montana charm!

Wonderful view here in summer evenings! The elk sliders are amazing with blue cheese - highly recommend.

Abby was one of the worst waitresses I’ve ever encountered. My friends and I went out for a beer and an appetizer, willing to wait for a table. Once seated, it was clear that Abby was annoyed when she realized not everyone was ordering a full meal. Her attitude made the experience uncomfortable, and she barely checked on us. We had to approach her just to get the bill. I’ve never dealt with service this bad before—it completely ruined our outing.
