This restaurant is on the mountain so wear appropriate footwear. It is quaint and has a nice bar. Had the duck and dumplings which was excellent. Also this place as a unique cocktail menu. Nice place for dinner and/or lunch.
We ate twice at Hellroaring saloon. The first was outstanding with prime rib special and pork chops. The second was Just OK. They were out of the pork chops (I was going to order again) and the daily special at 6:45. My wife had chicken breast and Brussels sprouts. I ordered a starters of lamb chops and and Brussels sprouts for my main. The Brussel sprouts were under done without much for spicing. My wife's fingerling potatoes were also borderline underdone. A shame to leave...
If you’re skiing at whitefish, you have to come here! Our ski instructor said they have the best food on the mountain, and he was 100% right! The atmosphere is so cute, and the food was some of the best we had on our trip. It’s such a gem, and it’s right on the hill for ski in and ski out access.
