When visiting Whitefish, definitely check out this gem of a restaurant. I loved the Pozole and they have an extensive list of Tequilas. Chips, salsa, and guac are so fresh and yummy.

Food was good, atmosphere was horrendous. Didn't know I was stepping into a sports bar. Was in town on a ski trip and this place was recommended by locals. We took a chance on what we're were told was a classier mexican restaurant. Went in and had to to listen to people screaming every other minute for 30 mins, loud enough that they could be heard in the formal dining area. The crowd of biligetent drunks were in the bar area watching their alma mater play some stupid game.It was absolutely obnoxious and staff and managment didn't care how disrupting it was. Even complained to waitress and nothing was done. If a wanted to hear a bunch of reprobates scream I would have gone to a sports bar.But maybe this unruly behavior is what the restaurant is going for given the fact they put the tvs up and put sports on.Don't be deceived by the curb appeal of this place. Keep driving. Wish we would have just had tacos in the back of the VFW that someone else recommended. It would have been more peaceful.

Tasty food and good drinks. Only disappointment was that we were too full to get the fried ice cream afterward. Most of the menu is gluten free, and our server told us anything with gluten uses a separate fryer, so things like the chips are celiac safe.

I have to say the service was very great. The building was way nice! Loved the decor and architecture. But I was expecting something different for Mexican food I guess. It definitely has a new spin on Mexican food and I’m not quite sure if I’d call it that either. It was quite disappointing. The salsas you get with the chips tastes like 505 you can get at Walmart. My drink was spot on though. I don’t remember the name but it had limoncello in it and due to their selection of tequila this might be what they specialize more in than the food.

Everything about Jalisco Cantina is incredible. The cocktail selection is unique, great selection of cocktails. Unknowingly went on Taco Tuesday, had a bit of a wait but was so worth it. I had the Chile Relenos, absolutely delicious and gigantic portions.

i love this place. its not cheap, but few things that r worth it r. this isa go-to for daye nites, or anytime u have somebody u wana impress. i even go here by myself sometimes, when i can afford it. ive never actually sat @ a table to eat... the bar is where its @, even with a date... much more interaction & enriching experience than a table, if u ask me... but that all depends on whether u like ppl in general or prefer your personal space. either way, enjoy! i know i do.Dietary restrictions: i cant do dairy or gluten, & theyre always accommodating of my dietary restrictions here.
Great gluten free vegan options and salsa was delicious and very worth it, flavourful rice and beans as well.
