Piggyback Barbeque Reviews
The food was so delicious backed by great service and Sweet Tea!
Absolutely awful! We arrived just after 5 on a Saturday night were informed there was a 1 hour wait for food. Ok. We (a party of 3) sat outside - dirty tables, dirt/ dead grass ground and 90+ degrees with no shade. Dinner actually took over 2 hours to receive! They said they had so many to go orders and only 1 person working the kitchen. As locals we expect things to be busier during the summer tourist season, but so should the restaurant! You guys really need to up your game...read full review
We waited over an hour for our food which was absolutely horrible and was served cold! 100% do not recommend this place. We did have a larger group, (7 adults and 2 children). Waste of money.

Piggyback Barbeque, located in Kalispell, is a restaurant that offers a variety of delicious BBQ dishes that have impressed many. Customers have praised the brisket and pulled pork for their tenderness and wonderful smoky flavor. The restaurant features a good selection of beer and cider, including the popular Whiskey Peach cider. The ambiance has a charming, old-fashioned feel with wood walls, metal signs, license plates, and pictures of pigs, creating a cozy atmosphere. Service is generally fast and attentive, with staff treating guests like family, especially during busy times.
Recent reviews highlight the authentic flavor of the BBQ, with many mentioning the awesome brisket and sausages, as well as the delicious sauce. The pork belly sliders, beef brisket, and special "Montana dog" have received high praise for being delicious and well-prepared. The baked potato with pulled pork has been described as delicious, and the ribs have received praise for being tender, though some found them dry. The coleslaw, with its vinegar base, is noted for being crunchy and tangy, while the baked beans and cornbread have also been highlighted as excellent. Customers appreciate the friendly and personable waitstaff, and while there might be a wait for a table due to the restaurant's smaller size, it is deemed totally worth it. The BBQ nachos and wings have also been mentioned as must-try items, and the habanero relish has impressed many with its delicious heat.
Overall, Piggyback Barbeque remains a good place to enjoy tasty BBQ in a welcoming setting, though there are minor suggestions for improving some side dishes and service speed.
