El Rey - Pollos en Penca de Maguey offers excellent service, location, and seasoning. In the morning, they serve snacks like gorditas, huaraches, and quesadillas with various stews, all made with handcrafted masa/tortillas. The specialty of the house is the drowned chubby. The mixiote-type chickens with herbs and spices are delicious, and the owners provide excellent attention. The ta with mother, sopes with chapulin, and prepared beer are also highly recommended, especially the cantarito.
