Located near the Coba ruins, Restaurant El Paso (also known as El Cocodrilo) is a great spot to relax after a long day of exploration. The service is excellent, with friendly and attentive waitstaff. The menu features authentic Mayan flavors, including the delicious carne asada tacos, grilled chicken, and BBQ pulled pork. Don't miss their pico de gallo and salsa verde. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the lagoon and a great ambiance. Prices are reasonable and they do not accept credit cards, so bring cash. Despite being open to the road, it's easy to find, just a short walk or drive from the ruins.
