CheYucas | Empanadas Gourmet is a wonderful place to get authentic empanadas with fair prices and absolutely delicious food. The atmosphere is charming, and the service is superb. Tourists should learn a few basics in Spanish as the staff does not speak English. The empanadas, including the highly recommended pastor empanada with pork and pineapple, are fresh and delicious, priced at 35 pesos ($2 USD) each. Enjoy the delicious salsas, and don't miss the incredible Ceasar salad. After your meal, treat yourself to some amazing coconut ice cream from next door. An absolute gem worth venturing out of the touristy part of town to experience!
