“Me and my family of 9 (two adults four teens and three preteens) went here for breakfast as a treat after finding it on google. It’s a very homey diner, it’s bathrooms and atmosphere is clean and the waitresses are extremely patient and inviting. we did wait a bit for our food but it was a big order so that’s normal. when we got the food it was all perfectly cooked and very delicious. the portions were good for the prices. there’s also a make your own coffee bar and coolers so you can pick your own drinks (anything from juice to energy drinks). in the end our bill came to 178.22 and for the food we got it was well worth it. we tipped 40$ and thanked them for being patient with us. will definitely be back:))“
“Looking around for a place to eat and one where the locals are always lined up outside seemed to be an indication as to what was available inside. That indicator proved to be correct. A very nice arrangement of tables inside where you're not crammed together. Not overly noisy, so that you can talk and hear each other. Oh yeah, the food was tasty and fresh.Parking: You may have to circle the lot a few times to find parking. Don't try it if you are pulling a trailer.“
“I came with a friend at around 9.30, it was quieter and the waitress seated us as soon as we got in the door. We took our time ordering. I did not expect such a large menu. Prices were on par with most brunch places. I had scrambled eggs, multigrain toast, some fruit, a strawberry-banana smoothie, baked beans with pork, and potatoes with sauteed mushrooms and caramelized onions. My only complaints were that the onions were burnt to a crisp, and that a smoothie alone was $7. The waitress was really nice and patient with us. I will probably come again with that friend the next time she visits.Vegetarian options: Lots of fruit and "Beyond Meat" stuff.Dietary restrictions: They let you have gluten-free bread, but you have to ask for it.Parking: Both sides of the street have free parking, but there are some hours where it is not permitted. There are also spots in the alley, bu the college and library, or down in the York Street parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Kids love sugary breakfasts, and booths offer plenty of space.Wheelchair accessibility: The sidewalk slopes down next to the alleyway, but I do not remember there being any door buttons.“
“We are regulars! My dad and I every Saturday and most Sundays. We are always greated with big smiles and as we leave we hear voices "see you next week" , bye!Waitresses knows my dad's special requests (dry toast and tomatoes instead of homefries) If Sarah's not our server she will make her way over for a hello. These girls care, and doesn't go unnoticed.“
