We drove 250km to come to this cute diner simply because we liked the look of it… and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Good food, good vibes, lovely portions for a great price… what more do you want in this world honestly? World peace? How about a piece of their pancakes!!!

We were there right at open.
They always greet their customers and say thank-you; both of them… No matter what they are busy doing.
He takes the orders and makes the toast/takes payments while she cooks on the grill.
If you think of them be sure to frequent them. They really take care of their paying customers
Kid-friendliness: Probably not for babies as all seating is bar style.

Great food. Wonderful service. About a hour drive from my house but was worth it. It's nice to be able to eat at a location that's very similar to a traditional diner.
Parking: Parking space next to the diner

Great iconic spot. Food is great for both traditional breakfast and burger items, as well as some tasty noodle and rice ones ?

I’ve lived in Fredericton for six years and I kept hearing about Joe’s diner and I finally went and tried the burger out and it was delicious.
I will be going back for the breakfast because that looks delicious as well and if you’re in the area visiting go and try it out.
From my understanding Joe’s is a piece of Fredericton, been there forever and when you go there you’ll say yeah it does look like it’s been there forever and it needs a major overhaul, but it’s has great food.
I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

FOOD was fantastic!! Owner makes signature hamburgers. You can never taste it like that. Old and small but best in town.

A little hole in the wall spot that gives an intimate dining experience. Small and cozy. Somewhere that still offers a valuable experience for its price point. The staff are lovely and very hard working! I ate breakfast and really enjoyed. The fresh bread was a great touch!

Great place. It's loud and hot and you can see everything behind the scenes. Great portions for reasonable prices. Great food. I wouldn't really recommend for large groups

Visiting Fredericton and found this diner near our Air BnB. Very good basic diner breakfast.
Joe’s is an independently owned counter only diner with about 12 seats. It is tiny and I do not understand how the 3 very welcoming and attentive folks manage to crank out the awesome food that they do, given the cramped quarters. While we were here there was a steady stream of people in and out for breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and very fairly priced. Don’t be put off by the outside appearance. The inside, though small, is clean and well maintained.
My surprise was to see that Japchae was on the lunchtime menu. One of my faves.
Parking: Though Joe’s parking lot is small there is a large baseball field city owned lot just steps away.

Very cool old-school diner. Bourdain would be proud. Orange Juice was undrinkable and the sausage was a little overcooked, but I’d go again. No AC so get ready to sweat.
