Great Irish Pub experience in downtown Fredericton. It's become our go-to stop for a pint.
The most friendly, helpful people. Thanks to Adam, Marcus and the owner as well as every patron who helped us while we were stranded. Stop by for a pint and a good time.
Turns out they do in fact sell pitchers of Guinness, but only when the owners aren’t around. Best bar in town for sure! One of only a few that are dog friendly.
Can’t wait to go back!
Great experience, awesome vibes and great, friendly service. Will definitely be back!
Very very slow service.
Spent a couple of hours in the +33C afternoon shade. Very pleasant. Guinness 0 was as good as the full alcohol version.
What a great place if you’re in town, stop by. We stopped in Fredericton and looked for live music with a pub, and we found this gold mine of a place. The service was great. The staff was fantastic. The locals asked us to join them at their table as we watch the band play. We were dancing. It was a great night very memorable. Thank you so much. FYI, it’s a pub. They don’t serve food.
Terrible service terrible staff terrible vibe would not recommend

Lots of friendly folk and excellent service. Friendly service. Looking to go back tonight.

⚠️⚠️⚠️BEWARE OF DANGER⚠️⚠️⚠️ This so-called "TRADITIONAL Irish Pub" is NOT a SAFE PLACE TO RELAX if you're neurodivergent, disabled, queer, and/or a quiet artist minding their own business.... (not sure which aspect of my personality set them off...unfortunately, the unscrupulous owners are disrespectful cowards and left me and a confused employee to figure out what to do...which was to give no message at all, just a trespass order....presumably because they're both too lazy and too snobby to have a civil discussion with anyone they think is beneath them 😉...) I was not bothering anyone in any fashion, I was stone cold and was only infirmed I was being trespassed (?!!) when I went to get my last 1-2 beers before heading out for the night... SUPPORT LOCAL, but PLEASE don't support T.RA.S.H y places with trashy owners like O'Hickey's (and Dooley's on Queen ffs...ughhh) This is NOT "traditional Irish Pub" candor or values, it's blatant discrimination by shady business owners. (And no, there's no "Oh I bet he was just drunk and obnoxious"—I kept myself well within my limit...literally 1 beer 1 shot over the course of > 1.5 hours...) I chose to be ~! extra sober !~ so these horrible people couldn't rely on that lazy excuse for justifying their blatantly classist behavior (I'm in a housing crisis and keep my art items in a modestly sized briefcase...unfortunately, it's quiet difficult to hide the executive dysfunction and shaky body/breath that comes with being Autistic, overstimulated, and overwhelmed with significant life stressors...apparently it's even perceptible while in a quiet, dark corner, quietly drawing and reading...enough that it warrants being trespassed...!) SURELY the Irish of all people understand what it's like to struggle...and just need a small drink and a safe, quiet space to try and unwind a little SHAME ON YOU O'HICKEY'S—You must not have recognized me today with your noses in the air... that's fine, you won't be seeing a single fine cent from me anymore
It's actually an Irish pub. Dark, quiet sometimes, perfect little nooks throughout. Staff and patrons make it what it is. Best place in Fredericton for a pint hands down.
worst experience i’ve ever had at a bar downtown. i tried it for the first time on a non busy night. the lines were disorganized and slow. really bad customer flow and set up compared to other bars in the area.
i ordered a vodka lemonade. i received a cup of vodka and lemon juice. no sweetness. they couldn’t of added simple syrup or sprite. i could barely drink it and everyone around me said it was disgusting. i order vodka lemonades everywhere i go. this was not a vodka lemonade. the line was way too long and disorganized for me to want to make a complaint or get a new one though.
and finally theres no direct blame on the management for this but i had several uncomfortable or rude interactions with men. i had several very purposefully get very up close and personal with me until i eventually had to physically remove them from my space.
overall bad vibes bad drinks bad service. only thing that made it okay was my friends.

always A great vibe, good music, and lots of happy people!
A negative-value business in the neighbourhood. If they kept the music inside and dispursed the constant group of chain smokers to the other side of the street, it might add value to area.
