I ordered myself the Garlic Tofu bowl. Have to say, I was blown away by how good it was.Great portion size, the meal left me feeling full but not over stuffed, price point was very fair and the staff was super friendly.

My first time in Fredericton and I had to go to Abbey Cafe! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, I love all the adorable animal artwork, the bright red chairs and benches and everything in between!They have a couple shelves where they carry some grocery type items, like specialty chocolate bars, Dandies marshmallows, nooch, vegan jerky and more! Prices are a little high but expected for specialty foods. They have a fridge with local soft drinks and Kombucha and also carry Butlers soy curls. They also have fresh baked goods like muffins, cookies and cakes.The menu is quite large as well offering wraps, cold and hot bowls and a few bits and bobs. I tried the pad Thai bowl and it was flavourful, filling and delicious. Portions are good!Definitely a new favourite of mine in such a beautiful city!

Overall a great spot to study with a mug of something delicious, have coffee dates, lunches, and look at some wonderful art.Lots of cozy spots to sit, affordable food options, and lots of vegan goodies.Today I had a California bowl that had way too much soy sauce on it, and they don't have tons of GF options for lunch but I still love this place.

Just want to thamk The Abbey for taking care of a stranded commuter. There was a fire on carleton St. So I couldnt go home after work. The server here tonight was really lovely and considerate. Great food here too, and lots of flavourful vegan options. Great little place.

Discovered by Assard during a family visit to Fredericton. Nice little cafe and also vegetarian, we were very happy with our discovery.
The only problem with this place is that it isn't in Moncton as it not being here complicates my life.The menu has many options depending on what you're fiending that day. We did the Cajun burrito and my partner had the curry bowl. Both were absolute bangers!We also got carrot cake. It was clearly sorcery as no human could make such a delicious dessert without black magic. We bought a second piece for the sad drive back to Moncton as way to try to drown our sorrows.The subject of how long it'll be until we can go back to the Abbey hurts our heartsouls.I hope the people of Fredericton know how lucky they are to have such a good vegan restaurant in their town.Vegetarian options: It's Vegan baby!
Tacky art, horrible lighting, disturbing wall paint and decor… terrible food, I didn’t even touch my sushi bowl—it was sitting in a pool of soya sauce. But the worst of all. The stench. My wool coat, entire outfit, and blowout is absolutely ruined from having dinner here. I don’t know if it’s because their kitchen is outside or what, but don’t eat here unless you want to offend everyone with your STENCH after eating here and spend hundreds on dry cleaning.
