“We order sushi from the Big Bowl every now and then. The Sushil is very high quality and delicious. There is a high range of choices. The owners and everyone working there is very nice. They usually add a free bowl of ramen noodles or free Korean soup to our order for which we are thankful. This is definitely our best spot for Sushi Moncton.Vegetarian options: Sushi rolls, ramen and soups“

“This place is amazing! This is our second visit and the kids still rave about it. We really enjoyed the seafood ramen and the spring rolls! It seems we can't go wrong with anything on the menu; all the food being served around us looked amazing too! Will definitely be back!“
“My usual is the sashimi bento box. I usually dine alone so I get lots of variety with this choice. All the rolls, sushi, tempora and sashimi is fresh and tastes fabulous. Service is attentive and friendly without being bothersome. Highly recommend eating here.“
“A Cozy Culinary DelightIf you find yourself wandering the streets of Moncton, with a craving for sushi that is both delightful and unpretentious, Japan Go Sushi awaits you with open doors. This modest establishment, nestled conveniently on Main Street, is a gem for those who favor simplicity and quality in their sushi experience. On a day marked by a brisk, long walk, my son's yearning for squid balls steered our path towards this new venture. The restaurant, though compact, radiates a welcoming ambience. Its décor strikes a fine balance - not overly adorned, yet suffused with enough elements to evoke a serene Asian dining atmosphere. Our meal commenced with beverages - a green tea for my son and a diet soda for myself. While the tea didn't quite meet my son's preference, known for his fondness of Orange Pekoe and Earl Grey, I found it quite to my liking. A complimentary Miso Soup soon followed, swiftly served with a warm smile. It proved to be a comforting start to our meal on that crisp day.The heart of our culinary exploration was the Takoyaki (Squid Balls) and Spicy Tuna Rolls. The Takoyaki, drenched in a sauce akin to sweet hoisin, was rich and indulgent. We both appreciated the dry fish on the side, adding a contrasting texture to the dish. While my son found the richness a tad overwhelming and the squid slightly tougher than anticipated, I enjoyed them thoroughly. The Spicy Tuna Rolls were the star of our meal. Perfectly balanced in rice and fish, with a just-right drizzle of sauce, they were a unanimous hit. Regrettably, we couldn't finish it all, but the leftovers promised a delightful meal for my wife later. In conclusion, Japan Go Sushi in Moncton is a splendid choice for sushi lovers. With its excellent food, amiable service, and reasonable pricing, it has quickly become a favored spot for me. Despite my son's minor reservations about the richness of some dishes, he too relished the experience. Japan Go Sushi is a must-visit for anyone seeking a cozy, authentic sushi dining experience in Moncton.“
“This restaurant was right opposite our hotel and I wish we came here first than going to The Keg nearby and having to put up with a terrible receptionist there who affected our experience. The staff here was simply amazing and the young Korean lady was smiling all the time detailing little things of interest. We had the soft shell crab, the tofu plus a mix of sushi etc my other half likes so much - he said everything was great and fresh, well done just the way you find in Korea, Japan etc. I even tried the complimentary soup, and yes, it was great. This place should be number one place in Moncton. And yes, we were fortunate to have only another table taken near us.“
“Introducing "Little Miss", my new lunch favourite with baby shrimp, crisp apple and cilantro. The friendliest, knowledgeable staff.Large variety of fresh produce, meats, fish and decadent desserts. The lunch counter offers soups, exotic salads and freshly made sandwiches as well as falafel and some sushi options.Lots of "hard-to-find" items available in the grocery section.Support a local business, who also supports local.Clean store, parking on site.“
“We were going to go eat next door but then saw the stellar review so we decided to give it a try. I've rarely seen restaurants have such a high rating and not be stellar. Maybe it's my expectations of amazing food that made me come out disappointed. The food was good but nothing special. We had the bulgogi with spring rolls and the rice patty. We enjoyed the dish, but there are other places in town that to us has equal or better tasting bulgogi offerings. We also had the orange chicken and both of us were disappointed. Maybe it's because I asked for it to be a bit spicy as the better orange chicken dishes that I've had in the past were spicy. They brought some chilli oil that I used as a dipping sauce for some extra heat but it still didn't pack much punch. The whole dish felt fairly bland and just tasting of sugar. It felt more like a tone down Canadian version of orange chicken.I'm wondering if the high rating is more for the sushi or the grill experience, maybe we will give it another try sometime. For us, it just didn't live up to the stellar google rating.“
“Food was absolutely perfect. Boyfriend and I went and got French Kiss Sushi Roll, I got Yaki Soba (spicy, with chicken) and he got the K-Fried Chicken Sweet Chilli. Everything was amazing, they even gave us a sample of a new menu item (cant remember what it was called but it was exquisite). Service was quick as always, they're super friendly people. Thank you Sushi Sapporo for the amazing time, as usual!“
“Dropped in on our way home to NS Saturday not knowing anything about the menu and found our server, Hong very helpful and friendly. He took our questions and requests and came up with a wonderful variety of sushi, Tempura shrimp and a spicy pork dish called Jeyuk. The pickled ginger and wasabi were the perfect compliment to the meal. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!! We will return next time we are in the area!!“
“Tried the Teriyaki beef bowl. The food is a little bit bland... I think a bit more seasoning of the vegetables and meat would be good. But I didn't meant to be too negative since I think it is very healthy... lots of greens and l like the rice. The Teriyaki sauce is not so great, there are definitely better tasting teriyaki sauce. Overall, a good healthy meal but the sauce needs improvement.“
“I enjoy the food here, and everyone I take here does too! It’s a good price and tastes good. I really enjoy their tteok-bokki. It’s warm and spicy and comes with a lot of tempura! Their sushi is nice too. The staff are really sweet and kind. I look forward to returning.“
