This was my favourite Chinese restaurant. Always good food and big portions for the price compared to others. Sad to see it closed with a For Sale sign up.
I’m sorry to just find out the Rice Bowl has closed after decades of wonderful service. You will be missed. Best Canadian East Coast Chinese food anywhere. We will forever remember you, your food, and your kindness. We lovingly say “you want pop?” in memory. Thanks again for everything and wishing the family the best in the future.
By far one of the best Chinese food my wife and I have ever had, she has been going for about 30 years and I've been going with her for the past 13. The workers were always friendly and nice and the food was always delicious, we are sad to see them close their doors. We wish them all the best.

While currently only offering take-out, the outstanding flavor and quality of their food make a return visit a definite plan for many.
